(possibly play) i did the 10-day trial and told my friends about it(2 of my friends). the thing they would love most is the huge open world one of them hates the fantasy elements (most of them) and the other doesnt like to not have ppl online and likes huge battles give me some good things about the game, why they should try

If your friend likes huge battles the PVP-part may interest him, battlegrounds can have douzends of players fighting against each other, he wil have to reach a rather high level before being able to properly enjoy those though.

Well for the friends that dont like fantasy this is not theyre game. But the big battle part theyre are plenty. Once you hit 60 you get into the Pre Burning Crusade content like Upper Black Rock Spire, Zul Gurub, Molten Core, Black Wing Lair, And Naxxramas. Upper black rock spire and or UBRS as we call it requires only 3-4 70s. Zul Gurub or ZG requires 5-7. Molten core or MC requires 15-20. Black Wing Lair or BWL requires 20 and is a bit more tricky. I Left out Onyxias lair but that requires 5. And then we get to naxxramas the hardest of these it requires 25-30 people. Ubrs used to take 10, zg 20, mc 40, Onyxias lair 40, BWL 40, And Naxxramas 40 and only a handful of guilds have done Kelthuzad the last boss. Once you hit 70 a whole new ball park you get into bc raids wich include Karazhan or kara, gruuls lair or just gruuls, Serpentshrine caverns or sc, And Black Temple or BT. Kara requires 10 people, gruuls 25, Sc 25, And BT 25. And then there is battlegrounds WSG or warsong gulch usually has something like 15 vs 15, arathi basin or AB something like 20 vs 20, Alteric Valley 40 vs 40 wich uses a pve element intertwined with a pvp element, And Eye Of The Storm wich is kind of like AB And those are the huge bttles of wow.

Wow certainly isn't for everybody. You need to be prepared to devote a significant amount of time to it or you'll never get far. I think the important thing is to tell your friend to get the free trial and try it out. After that, he'll either like it or hate it.
