As you approach the mid 40's, leveling suddenly becomes as slow as a snail in a vice. So the question I put forth to you is this - How do you prefer to level in mid game content?

I mainly quest but always have an eye open for zulfarrak when you're in 40's. Feralas, STV and Tanaris are all great places to quest.

Yeah, pretty much what I did from 42-46, what spend the day doingd various quests in the areas Tanaris, STV, Feralas, and Badlands, and also made sure I did at least one instance run each day. At these levels there's Uldaman and Zul'Furrak. Instances are great for leveling.

Grinding... Grinded and done a few quests on the way of my grinding paths. Level up to 52 that way easy. If you think leveling from 40s up is slow wait till your 58. Grinding is a great way to level. On the weekend I made a rogue and grinded him for 2 days and now hes 24. Still takes me about an hour or so to level a full level, starting to be closer to hour and half per level. I downloaded cosmos and when i grind it shows me how long it will take me to level at the current rate im gaining exp at and how much i gained per hour/session. nice way to make cash too. I didn't support my rogue with my main and he already has 21g and top of line gear for level.

Ginding sucks though. I HATE grinding. Though, if you have a frindable class (Mage, Rogue, Hunter, Warrior) I guess it's not as bad. But Shamans suck at PvE.

I'm a warrior, and grinding is still horribly boring. It's probably boring for every class.

Best quests are kill type quests, there are usually a lot of them, quite a few in Tanaris.

Boring, yes, but alot easier than other classes. Try being a Shaman: one yellow mob and you've wasted a whole mana bar on killing it.

Mana is a shaman's worst enemy, I got that shaman up another level too. Grinding is so horribly boring, but questing takes so much longer.

It is usually best when you have a friend or someone you can constantly quest with to get to 60. I did this on my first character and it goes a lot quicker and not nearly as boring.
