Im just curious what people think of this game, and if they will buy it. I personally haven't been an MMO person, but I think this game is the icebreaker for me. I managed to get into the open beta that finished last week and was hooked straight off. The one think I think that has plus points for it, is that Blizzard imho are a good company for keeping games going on and on with updates which prevent you from getting bored with the game. (war3 and TFT). The best thing I reckon it has going for it, is that it has a massive story base that if anyone has even played warcraft 1, 2 or 3, will be amazed by how it continues on. Check http://www.gamingforums.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=525 for end of beta screenshots, where complete chaos reigned. Excellent. Disclaimer: These screenshots were not taken by me, I just got them up on this site.

It looks like a very nice game, and I would buy it if I didn't have to pay monthly to keep on playing it. sad%20%28frown%29.gif Shame, because Warcraft 3 is a very good game. . .

Until now every game by Blizzard was great. I think I'll try it out for some time at least.

I went to walmart at 12:01 am to get my copy! I had to fend off 10 nerds to grab one of the 6 copies they had!

Don't play it, or you will get addicted to it, I'm not of a MMO fan but I loved the game as graphics, and exploring around the very very large islands.

HA! Seems to be for MMO's all the time whenever I play one im addicted. I cant stop playing iro. But I think WOW is going to be one of the best MMO's out there I went and looked at it and it looks like tons of customization for your jobs and stuff. I hope my PC can take it.

That is exactly my point, by saying "Don't play it, or you will get addicted to it, " is what I call to be irony. As I said something but the meaning behind it is the opposite. So, what I am saying that WOW is very cool and if you have the money and time then go buy it. Btw, WOW had made, "in just the first day alone, over 200,000 players created World of Warcraft accounts, and over 100,000 were already playing the game concurrently as of 5:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday. Retailers across North America, including Wal-Mart, EB, GameStop, and others are reporting that hundreds of their stores have sold out of World of Warcraft due to the demand.
