I think the expansion pack is looking pretty dam fine, it looks to do a lot more than TBC ever did.

- The new achievements are pretty cool (some of them actually promote world PvP). - New customisation options are going to be available. - Leveling speed will be increased in Outlands 30%.

Heaps of other stuff.

In an interview Blizzard mentioned a graphics update for the next addon after the upcoming one (WotLK). I think they also keep the graphics low so more people are able to play and enjoy the game. We got a lot of members in the guild that do not own a new/uptodate PC so they are glad that they can play at all. While raiding some of them also need to lower some of the video details to get a playable framerate and with enhanced graphics they would no longer be able to do this. A delay until the 3rd addon will give them more time to upgrade their machines. With everything on max and a few graphic enhancements with macros WoW doesn't look that bad at all imho.

You have an excellent point.I play on max settings too but I know some people that play with not so good pc's and play on low settings that are just happy to be able to play.It would be kind of mean to just have a graphics update and have all of them not play until they get a new pc.But Im afraid the time has come,we really need one(well not really but It would be amazing)They should tell all those people around 4-5 months before the update.

I'm so excited about this expansion pack! Although I don't know if I'm going to keep playing my priest... and if I do keep playing her if I want to be a healer or an imba shadow priest. I love the new talents they've given shadow priests, awesome job with changing some of the complete shit ones that no one ever wants to spend any talent points on (haven't looked at any other classes but I'm sure they've done that for all of you). The problem of being a shadow priest I think there's going to be loads of tanks... since huntards can now have thier pets tank and Death Knights can tank, too... so I think there's going to be a lack of healers...

Either way, I'm excited for it... but I don't think I'm going to play a death knight only because EVERYONE will (you start at level 55, wtf).[/SIZE]

I'm using this macro to improve the graphics beyond the ingame options: For higher quality: /console farclip 777 /console horizonfarclip 6226 /console groundeffectdensity 256 /console groundeffectdist 140 /console smallcull 0 /console skycloudlod 3 /console characterambient 0 For lower quality: /console groundEffectDensity 16 /console groundEffectDist 1 /console horizonfarclip 1305 /console farclip 177 /console characterAmbient 1 /console smallcull 1 /console skycloudlod 1 /console detailDoodadAlpha 1

• The vegetation can be seen from miles away (grass flowers etc) plus there seems to be FAR more of it. • The "bloom" effect seems to be more vivid. • The view distance is greatly increased. • Everything seems to be more sharp and crisp. • The weather effects appear to be more intense.Found this once on a WoW fanpage but the link no longer works. Just copied it now from my guilds forum.

Easiest is to make a new macro (type /macro, select an icon and name) and paste the text in. Drag the macro to your hotbars and hit it.

Otherwise you could enter the text one line at a time.
