This is a historically based mission about the Ottoman Turks attacking Vienna in 1683. The battle of Vienna was the most crucial battle in the Great Turkish War. Play as Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa Pasha, and try to capture Vienna. In real life, the overconfident man failed (his head was chopped off after losing the battle). However, in this scenario, you will have the opportunity to win the battle!
Changes in version 1.1 include the fixing of triggers and the adding of music. Few balance changes were necessary, as the triggers will balance out the game.

Readme file: Copy both the “siege and battle of Vienna -1683.bak” and “siege and battle of Vienna-1683.age3scn” to the MyDocuments/MyGames/AgeofEmpires3/Scenario folder. Copy all the music files to ProgramFiles/MicrosoftGames/AgeofEmpiresIII/Sound folder. Hints: 1. Upgrade all of your critical units (janissary, hussars, whatever you think you need) to imperial level right at the beginning. The enemy will attack your base immediately. You’ll start this mission outnumbered and on the defense, so you’ll want to at least have high-powered units. Hang in there; the opening fights will be pretty much over by 5 minutes! 2. Complete secondary objectives before primary objectives. 3. Balance your limited settlers on food, wood, and coin. Remember to protect your three factories. 4. Destroy fixed guns with mortars. 5. Use the starting Spahis to quickly rescue the supply carts or charge the artillery. 6. It may be easier to attack Venice by land. 7. If the mission starts to drag out create artillery to quickly destroy the Austrian buildings. 8. You will eventually be confronted with choice dialogs; choose wisely. Have fun!
