This mod is a new unit, Gandalf. It is not very good, it is just a presit, that shoots fire balls and has better stats. The texture of the unit hasn't changed, so it looks the same.

I would not reccomend it for download.

Description:

This is a new unit which lets you place in the map editor a "Gandalf" unit,
which is similar to a Priest but he has better stats and fires fireballs.  My simplest mod to date.



Installation:

Use Vachu's BAR Explorer to extract data.bar from the AoM/data folder.  Paste the "Gandalf_anim" file
to the directory "Age of Mythology/anim"  Also, paste the text of the proto document into the end of the
proto.xml file in the "Age of Mythology/data" directory, between the last two words "</unit>" and "</proto>"

Oh, one more thing: if you want Gandalf to have a name and not be just blank, download Vachu's
Text Editor and in the proto file where you see "unit id" and "displaynameid", after that you should see an
"X."  In the Text Editor, add a new line (make sure to give the text a vacant ID number) and call it "Gandalf."  Then,
you can do another line if you want to describing the rollover text; again make sure to have a vacant ID number.
Take the ID number of the name and type it in where you see an "X" in the proto document (which you should have pasted
in already).  I kinda messed up by not telling people about this in my "Great Swordsman" unit mod, so please download
that, too, and do what you just did for that as well.
