This file will install Samus Aran, intergalactic bounty Hunter from the Nintendo "METROID" series to your Age of Mythology game.

ATTENTION: YOU MUST HAVE THE TITANS EXPANSION FOR THIS TO WORK, AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE WITH THIS INSTALLED UNLESS A FRIEND OF YOURS ALSO HAS IT!!!!!!

Installing:  Run Samus Aran install.exe


CAUTION: PROTOX.XMB AND UNITTRANSFORM.XMB WILL BE OVERWRITTEN!!! IF YOU WISH TO KEEP YOUR CURRENT FILES, PUT THEM IN A DIFFERENT FOLDER FROM THE ORIGINAL!!!

VERY VERY IMPORTANT-

Enclosed is a copy of xpacklanguage.dll.  THE .EXE FILE WILL AUTOMATICALLY OVERWRITE XPACKLANGUAGE.DLL.

IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE XPACKLANGUAGE.DLL, AND PUT IN THE OLD ONE, DELETE "xpacklanguage.dll" FROM THE C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology FOLDER!  

THEN, INSIDE YOUR AGE OF MYTHOLOGY FOLDER, RENAME XPACKLANGUAGEORIGINAL.DLL TO XPACKLANGUAGE.DLL

Anyway... run the Samus Aran install.exe file and when it says "extract to" just click extract.  This will put all the needed files into age of mythology.

NOW GO OUT THERE AND BLAST SOME MONSTERS!

A unique beam system never seen before!  Use Power, Light, Dark, and Sound as you battle your way to victory!

Morph ball that lets you escape enemies quickly :p

UNIQUE ANIMATIONS!  All animations look like they're in cinematic mode, even while they're in non-cinematic mode.

Unit transforms into 5 different models- Power to Light, Light to Dark, Dark to Annihilator, Annihilator to Morph ball, Morph Ball to Power Beam.

Different strengths and weaknesses for all beams.

Custom sounds for Samus instead of just dull silence :p

Comes back to life if killed and regains health slowly

1. Inside your anim folder

Delete Morph Ball_anim.txt, Samus (Annihilator Beam)_anim.txt, Samus (Dark Beam)_anim.txt, Samus (Light Beam)_anim.txt, and Samus (Power Beam)_anim.txt

Delete Metroid_anim.txt and Samus' Gunship_anim.txt also

2. Inside your data folder

Delete (or replace with your own copy) protox.xmb, and also delete unittransform.xmb

3.  Inside your history2 folder

Delete Morph Ball.txt and the four Samus (Beam type).txt files

Delete Samus' Gunship.txt and Metroid.txt

---ALSO in your history2 folder---
Go into the units folder in history 2 and delete the same .txt files as shown above

4. Inside your models folder

Delete all .brg files starting with hero x morph ball, hero x samus, Samus' Gunship and Metroid

5. Inside your sound folder

Delete all the Samus (Beam Type)_snds.xmb and .xml, plus Metroid_snds.xml and xmb

6. Inside your textures folder

Delete all .ddt files starting with hero x samus, hero x morph ball, Samus' Gunship, and Metroid

---ALSO in your texture folder---

Go to the textures folder and then the icons folder, and delete hero x morph ball icon.ddt, hero x morph ball icon 64.ddt, hero x samus icon.ddt, hero x samus icon 64.ddt, Samus' Gunship icon, Samus' Gunship icon 64, Metroid icon, and Metroid icon 64

7.  Xpacklanguage.dll

In your main age of mythology folder, scroll to the way end, there should be xpacklanguage.dll and xpacklanguageoriginal.dll

Delete xpacklanguage.dll and rename (case and word sensitive) xpacklanguageoriginal.dll to xpacklanguage.dll

And there you have it, Samus has been removed from your computer.
