Sim of Mythology reads the values of each civ from the data directory. These values are stored in an ordinary text-file, and you may (on your own risk) edit theese values.
Before you edit any values I strongly reccomend you to take BACKUP of existing files, since you may get awkward results if the program tries to read a value that it doesn't understand. Never use alphanumeric values where it should be numeric values.
The values in the tech- and unitfiles are semicolon seperated, which means that you may not use semicolon as a value for anything. It can be a teedious task to edit the values in notepad, so if you have Microsoft Excel or something similar I strongly reccomend you to import the file you want to edit in your spreadsheet application, do the editing, and export it back as a text file when you're done.
It's possible to create your very own civilization by adding the file name in the datacivs.txt file. And then create a new text file with the same name (You MUST use .txt extension of your file if you want your Civilisation to display correctly in the drop-down box). Please make sure that your new file has the same amount of coloums as the default ones(egypt.txt, norse.txt and greek.txt).
