Important: To play properly you must open AOM Editor from main menu, load the file "resources.scn" from the Anubis Scenario folder, choose trigger editor from the trigger menu, select "scenario" from the group dropdown box and select "Savages" from the list, choose the conditions option and where it says Seconds and 20 change the 20 to 120 (2mins).
This campaign is of good quality and i reccomend it for download. Those who might have told you it was to hard probably played without editing, and i'm sure the developer is sorry for this.
This campaign is challanging, and includes sounds unused in AOM before, which is good. The character of the Guardian is done well but the ending cinematic is long, without much happening besides at the start. It gets a higher than average mark.
The installation instructions are good and the author has spent time on the readme, which i consider important. 'Kingers' seems to have spent alot of tiem on the campaign as it is rare to find someone who will look for sounds and music from unrelated sources.
Installation ------------ NOTE: The zip file contains a directory structure it must be allowed to extract to its pathnames otherwise the campaign will not play directly. 1. Extract the zip file to the desktop. 2. Place the "Anubis_SCN" folder into the "scenario" folder in the AOM directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\scenario\Anubis_SCN 3. Place the "Anubis_MP3" folder into the "sound" folder in the AOM directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\sound\Anubis_MP3 4. Place the "Anubis.cpn" file into the "data" folder in AOM Directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\data\Anubis.cpn 5. Run the game, select play campaign, choose the Rise of Anubis from the dropdown box and let the fun begin! -------------- Any problems email matthew.kingshott_@_btinternet.com - Remove the underscores first!
