3) Construction Info:

Tools Used: Paint Shop Pro X6, Windows Snipping Tool and an online image to ico converter.

Base: Built from scratch using AvP2's offical wallpapers and game resources.

Resources: AvP2's alternate splash.

Construction Time: Over the course of two days.

	I created this little pack of desktop icons for AvP2 (and Primal Hunt) simply because I was looking at my desktop, which I had set up with a bunch of fancy custom icons and noticed that the AvP2 and Primal Hunt icons looked really outdated. The old icons for these games are really low resolution and look very pixelated. There are other AvP themed icons out there, but most are focused for Macs and docks. I wanted new icons that would be suitable for a Windows-based desktop. The first icon I made was by using the alternate AvP2 splash/logo and turning it into an ICO file. I then had the idea to go back to the old, official AvP2 wallpapers and start cropping out the characters to make more ICO files.
	In the end I came up with ten new icons, but I noticed some of them had characters facing either left or right. Depending on where you were to place this icon on your desktop, you might want the character facing the other way around. So I made reversed versions of these icons in where they are flipped horizontally. Thus, you will notce "iconnameR" for these files. I also made three sizes for the icons. 256x256, 128x128 and lastly 64x64. All three sizes will be a step up in resolution over the default originals.
	There are icons for the marines, aliens, predators and even the AvP2 logo. I hope you find something suitable for your desktop, whether it's for AvP2, Primal Hunt or both. Enjoy!

A) Extract or copy the folders 256x256, 128x128 and 64x64 and place them somewhere else on your computer. This can be in a new icon folder in your AvP2 directory or even in an icon folder in "My Pictures." I personally place them under "My Pictures/Windows Icons/Video Games/AvP2"

B) Go to your AvP2.exe (and Primal Hunt.exe) shortcut(s) on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut, and click properties. Click change icon, click browse and find where you placed the new icons on your computer. Select the icon you want and click ok. Then click apply and ok.

C) You will know if you installed the icon(s) correctly if you see the new icon(s) appear on your shortcut(s).
