This is version two of one of my earlier maps [DnD] Devastation. The original map didn't run well on lower end spec machines and was small in comparison to V.2. V.2 offers more in the way of detail it is a larger map and took about the same time to create as the original version.

This is version two of one of my earlier maps [DnD] Devastation. The orignal  map didn't run well on lower end spec machines and was small in comparison to V.2. V.2 offers more in the way  of detail it is a larger map and took about the same time to create as the origninal version. 

New things include:

1) A far more detailed map
2) A more complicated layout and larger map
3) More explosive barrels Fun Fun :D
4) Improved frame rates compared to the original version runs perfectly well
5) Pipe and vent networks
6) Lower level is completely hived up unlike the original version
7) Levels have been reversed for texturing reasons, level 1 is now the hive instead of level 3 and level 3 is at the top of the map instead of being the hive in level 1.
8) More rooms :)
9) A SinglePlayer version of the map is in progress.


Construction Time: Around 8-12 weeks (A week or two were trying to figure out the goddman signs!)
Custom Textures: Yes (Maps, Signs etc)
Custom Sounds: Yes (New evac alarms, New ambient)
Custom Models: Yes (Open eggs and hived people, saves sending messages in game)
Edited Butes: No
Bugs: There is an area outside where framerates drop slightly I did all I could to remove the issue but without success.

Notes:

1) If you would like to use a Prefabs from my map e-mail me and i'll see what I can do!
2) The SinglePlayer version is in works and will be available in the future, in th emean time check out the teaser bundled with this map.


Tips:

1) Conserve ammo, the boxes don't reopen for about 60 seconds.
2) Try sticking to one area of the map this prevents getting lost whilst playing.
3) Use the signs to navigate easier they mean the following:

	'S'=Storage Room
	'E'=Elevator
	'G'=Garage
	'C'=Core (The main room with cranes etc)
	'Ladder picture'=Ladder duh!
	'The other one!'=Command Centre

4) There is one map of the map on each level, the flashing point is where you are.
5) All weapons are in there for all species they are just well hidden, for example more destructable weapons will be in the vents.

Stupid things that you shouldn't do but were done by the beta testers:

1) Jump into moving fans
2) Jump down the giant crevace
3) Jump into moving fans
4) Accidently drop down an acidhole
5) Try to ride the swinging crate and miss...
6) And one last thing which I did... Don't shoot a SADAR rocket at a pipe at point blank range thinking it was an Alien...

1) Redclaw for the helping get rid of vision lag, ideas,... getting lost... and prefabs!
2) Rasirez for ideas and input on the map, and also testing.

INSTALLATION:

Go to your avp2 directory eg. C:/Program files/fox/aliens vs. predator 2/

1) Extract DnD_Dev2.rez from the .zip file.

2) Drop DnD_Dev2.rez into the main directory.

3) Start the game up, but dont play, go to options and type the command line in -rez DnD_Dev2.rez and there we go all done now enjoy playing the new map!
