This version is a server-side mod which has several features. These features are:

AXP/FUZZY ANTI SPAWN KILL

Spawn Protection Mode has been provided to spawning players. Spawn Protection Mode protects players when spawning. While a player is in Spawn Protection Mode, he/she will not be able to attack or be attacked. They will be able to do many other functions, however.

NEW IN FK1099: You will be allowed to choose a weapon to have it ready, but if you fire it, you will be set back to the DEFAULT WEAPON.

When a player spawns, they will be protected indefinitely (DM, TDM) or for 30 seconds (EVAC, HUNT, SURVIVOR, OVERRUN) ... or ... until any of the following criteria is met:

(1) Player jumps at any time. (2) Toggles on Crouch Toggle or Wallwalk Toggle. (3) Player Taunts. (4) Player moves (includes pouncing) exactly 400 game units from spawn point. This gives adequate distance for spawning players to move out of harm's way or spawn campers prior to exiting spawn protection mode.

Upon completing any of the above listed tasks, the player will be immediately removed from spawn protection mode and will be vulnerable to attack.

Players be allowed to most tasks while still in spawn protection mode such as: (1) Cloak (if predator) (2) Change vision modes (3) Turn and/or straffe (4) Move a few feet or so (Max 400 Game Units) (5) Send messages (6) Switch weapons (7) Fire weapons (doing no effect) (8) Adjust settings (hotkeys, video, sound, commands, etc)

and the list goes on...

If an alien player pounces from spawn protection mode, any victims within the spawn protection leash range will be uneffected by the pounce attack. If the alien finishes the pounce within his spawn protection leash, he will remain in spawn protection until one of the above listed criteria is met. If the pouncing alien exits the leash distance at any time during the pounce, he will immediately exit spawn protection mode. That means he could be in mid-air when he exits protection mode.

It is important to note that players that are in Spawn Protection Mode are somewhat invisible to other players (except aliens as they can see the aura).

NEW SERVER COMMANDS

NOTE: Depending on how the Server Administrator configures the mod, using FK1099CFGRC7.EXE, will depend on what commands L1/L2 admins have access to.

The Server Commands are:

nk <#> Kick a player by their ID Number. <#> is their ID that you want to kick. The original kick command is gone, as it is useless anyway.

tnc Toggle the ability for all players to either be able to change names or not allow it. Will not show a message that this command was toggled. L3 ACCESS ONLY!

vtnc Toggle the ability for players to either be able to change names or not allow it. This version WILL show a message that it was toggled. L3 ACCESS ONLY!

ren Allows and admin to rename a player. is the id of the player to be renamed. is the new player name you wish to assign.

tks Toggles whether you want to allow players to keep score/frags on only class change or not. Species change still resets to 0.

tpc Admin Player Chat Toggle. This allows the admins ability to MUTE players. Once muted, you can not Private Chat, Team Chat, or use Normal Chat. *****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

tfom This command forces a player to enter observe mode and they can NOT get out without the admin re- doing this command. The side effect that FK1098 has has been fixed. *****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

tom This allows the admin to put a player in a NON-RESTRICTIVE observe mode if need be, or themselves. A good use for this is if the admin needs to admin the server, or what not, you can go to observe mode and do it. Another good use is if a player says AFK, you can get them into Observer Mode and get them out of the way so they don't tie up a spawn point.

cpc This command lets you change a player to a specific Species/Class. If you want to change someone to a species the server is not configured for, you must be able to use: tosl command. Some L1 and L2 admins may not be able to use this command, depending on how the server operator sets it up.

tscl Toggle the setting on id# and prevent a player from changing Species or Class. *****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

tccl Toggle the setting on id# and prevent Species Changes on a player. They can change class within their current species. *****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

tsl This toggle restricts ALL players to their current species. They can change class, just not species. *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

ttsl This toggle restricts ALL players to the current Species and current class they are playing. No Character changes can be made except via admin command. *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

tosl This toggles the Override Species Lock. This allows you to put in species that are not setup in the server config file. Then you use the cpc command to put someone in the species you want. On a level change, they will NOT be in this species. You will have to do it again, if you want a species that wasn't defined. *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

dsa Allows a L3 Admin to DISABLE L2 Admin Login and command access. Usefull for passwords that may have been hijacked.

dwa Allows a L3 Admin to DISABLE L1 Admin Login and command access. Usefull for passwords that may have been hijacked.

gsc # Gives Temp Server control to ID #. They need not know your SC Password for you to give them 1 time server control. If they leave or an admin with the SC PW gains control, they lose it and can not get it back unless they know the PW or someone uses this command on them again. L3 ACCESS ONLY!

slock This will allow you to change the server to a locked server. is the password you want to set it to. Only Numbers and Alpha are acceptable (0-9, a-z, A-z). Due to the way the engine handles level changes, everyone gets booted at the NEXT level change, BUT only those who know the password may rejoin. The only way to remove the locked condition is to REBOOT the server, or re-issue the " slock" command like this: " slock k". To unlock, you need at least one character, and it (number or letter). This command will allow ALL PLAYERS CURRENTLY IN GAME TO STAY IN THE SERVER. The plock command will operate the way slock used to, only people who you gave the PW to would know it. *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

privl This allows admins to lock the server and then they can private message who gets the password. Useful to use, for example, if you need to restart the server and not want to have to be right there to shut down between levels. *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

dmhde # This command is dedicated to the DMH brotherhood and DE Clan. This command toggles a "Pred Melee vs Human Pistol/Shotgun" playing mode. This command is OFF by default and must be toggled on in game. Once this command is on, the weapons that are NOT allowed will work exactly as they do while you are in spawn mode. They simply do not fire and cause damage to anyone. Preds can only use: Wristblades and Combistick Humans can only use: Knife, Pistol and shotgun Aliens can not STUN with tail, or cause STUN on pounce. Also, no exeosuit weapons will function either. Aliens can attack as usual, it is up to the admin to decide whether to allow aliens to join this game. But the way DMH/DE plays it, we do not allow aliens to be present. This is my gift to DMH and DE. I recommend that the admins let all new players that joined know that only these weapons will work, or they will have some angry players. TO DEACTIVATE MELEE MODE USE: dmhde FK1099RC2 FIXES: Alien Stun is now disabled in melee mode. If the humans make it to an ammo box, all classes receive shotguns and flamethrowers. When DMHDE mode is turned off, all humans are respawned so that the extra weapons are removed. Ammo Boxes will not function for Predators during DMHDE mode. Requires AVP2ServFE v1.7.7.0 if you want to see the timed reminders. The command will still work without the server app.

FK1099RC6 CHANGES: Disabled Assault & Heavy Predator classes. Have had a number of requests for this and made a new command that works in addition to DMHDE melee mode. This command is: mmpulse What this command does is enables Assault and Heavy classes then allows humans to use the pulse rifle. Don't worry, pulse nades DO NOT WORK during this mode of DMHDE Melee mode. This command is a seperate toggle and by default, is NOT enabled.

FK1099RC9 CHANGES: Light Predator is forbidden to use the Combi Stick during melee mode. Give them an unfair advantage.

NOTES: THIS FEATURE REQUIRES AVP2ServFE to get the auto message for this command!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DO NOT USE AVP2ServFE APP, simply use: dmhde 0 to activate the command. # can be 0 to 20. If # is 0 or 1, then there is NO periodic timer message indicating that melee mode is on. If is is 2 - 20, then it sets a Timer that a periodic timer will display a message indicating MELEE MODE is on. If # = 2, then approx. every 10 seconds you will see a message pop up. If set to 3 then every 15 seconds, 4 is every 20 seconds, and so on. 20 would be approx. every 100 seconds. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VALUE OF 4 to 5! *****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

melemsg This command will allow an admin to display for all to see, that melee mode is on and what weapons are allowed. The command does take into account for mmpulse mode as well. *** ALL ADMIN LEVELS ***

rc Release Admin Access. ALL 3 Levels can use this command. For L3 (SC) you lose the STAR icon.

tpa # Performs the actions of tfom and tpc commands. Puts a player to Forced Observe Mode and MUTES them. *****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

tweap # This changes the weapon banning settings. If # is 0, that enables or disables ALL weapon banning. It is equivelant to a master on/off switch. Only 0 can be used by a Level 3 Admin. # Weapon ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Predator Pistol 2 Speargun 3 Disc 4 Netgun 5 Remote Bombs 6 Plasma Caster 7 Pulse Rifle 8 Smartgun 9 Sadar 10 Minigun 11 Railgun 12 Flamethrower 13 Grenade Launcher 14 Alien Pounce Stun/Tail Stun (NOTE: #14 has had VERY LITTLE testing!) NOTES on tweap: If you fire a BANNED weapon, it will AUTO SWITCH to the Default weapon, FK1099RC2 FIXES: Alien Tail Stun and Pounce Stun disabling actually works now. Wow, what a concept...LOL

nban # If a player is abusuing the command, this will cool their jets. This toggles the ability of commnand usuage. *****This is reset on level change!*****

watch # Puts a player ID # in Game Observe Mode. Basically, it does TFOM, then CPC to an alien, then prevents Private Chat and Team Chat messages from working. Usefull to Observe a game. No more using 3+ commands to achieve the same effect!

autofom If an admin is having trouble with hackers they can enable "Join Forced Observe Mode upon Joining". This requires the admin to release player to play if they choose to do so. NOTE: If you give L1 and/or L2 access to autofom, you NEED to give them access to TFOM as well, or joiners will be stuck in FOM until an admin with proper access can release them.

togfom # This command command replaces RELFOM and ALLFOM and combines them If # = 0, that releases all from TFOM, # = 1 for put all players into TFOM.

evacwait Special command for Evac Game mode. The code for this was given to me by bunny-s and since I don't play evac, not too sure of what it does.

fommsg Allows people to display the message about Auto FOM on join. This is mostly used by admins, instead of retyping a message constantly. All 3 levels of admin automatically get access to this command. Should be used to repeatedly explain AUTOFOM on JOIN mode to players. This command only works if autofom has been enabled.

shp # # Due to the amount of jerks using God Mode type hacks. The first # is the ID Number of the player. If you want to show the whole server what someone's health is, then the second # must be 1. I repeat, the second # must be 1. shp 1 <---Would view ID 1's Health PRIVATELY shp 1 1 <---Would view ID 1's Health for ALL in the server to see. This command could be usefull to see if someone's health is not valid. I highly don't recommend using the public view unless you see something WAY out of line.

csl Toggles whether players can only select characters while in spawn mode or not. The commands TSL, TTSL, TSCL, TCCL will override any character selection ability. If TSL is on then NO ONE may change characters at all except admins for example. See the above commands for what they restrict.

maxpl # Set the maximum allowed player slots. Takes effect on next map change. Min value is 2 and max value is 16.

setdm # # FOR DM & TEAMDM ONLY! This command allows you to change species configuration. The first number is the OPTION to set. OPTIONS: 0 = Aliens, 1 = Marines, 2 = Predators, 3 = Corporates. The second value is the number of player slots for that species. Example: setdm 1 2 The above example sets 2 player slots for the Aliens. This command takes effect next map change. This is just an experiment to see if this works well. The other game modes will follow if successfull. NOTE: Since I am basically done modding AVP2, the other game modes probably will not be included.

access This command lists the command your admin access level has. Use the following table to decipher the commands: ## COMMAND -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0 NOT USED 1 MAXPLAYERS 2 SETDM 3 TPC 4 MUTE 5 TOM 6 NK 7 CPC 8 TSCL 9 TSL 10 TTSL 11 TOSL 12 TCCL 13 REN 14 TFOM 15 TWEAP 16 Q 17 X 18 LC 19 PM 20 FF 21 PN 22 LD 23 CW 24 DMHDE 25 PL 26 NL 27 RL 28 CSL 29 SLOCK / PRIVL 30 NBAN 31 NOT USED 32 WATCH 33 MONITOR 34 NOT USED 35 AUTOFOM What ever number(s) appear in response to ' access' is what you have access to.

New shortened STANDARD server commands are available. These commands are (they are NOT case sensitive): Standard Server commands are NO LONGER AVAILABLE so that I can add many more commands.

sc Same as control Just replace with the proper Server Control Passowrd. This is the command all 3 Admin Levels login with. If you use the L1 password, you get logged in as a L1 Admin. If you use the L2 password, you are logged in as L2 Admin. If you use the password from the Server config file (L3, Server Control), then you are logged in as L3 admin and get the control STAR Icon. L1 and L2 admins can ONLY be identified using " admins" command.

rc Release server control (L1/L2/L3).

qscl NOTE: Only valid for L1/L2 logins. This allows a L1/L2 admin to login UN-ANNOUNCED (Silent).

nl Same as nextlevel rl Same as restart pl Same as prevlevel lc Same as lifecycle cw Same as classweapons ld Same as locatondamage pm Same as predmask ff Same as friendlyfire pn Same as popupnames x <#> Same as exosuit <#> (<#> is 0 - 10, 0 Disables) q <#> Same as queen <#> (<#> is 0 - 10, 0 Disables)

This command is stil valid: control (Only original command left)

COMMAND ALL PLAYERS CAN ACCESS:

snc Shows the Name changing Status.

sks Shows whether or not a player can keep their Frags/Score when a Class Only change to their character is made. On a Species change, it will RESET to 0 as normal..

admins This command will list the security level and ID# of any admin logged in. Can be used to see if there truly are any admins logged in.

id This command is a remake of my old "lp" command. This will ONLY show the IDs and NAMEs to the player that called up the command. This command is ONLY valid when IDs in Names are DISABLED. If IDs in Names are on, use the TAB key to view the frag list. Keep in mind that on 16 player servers, it WILL be a challenge to try to get the first few names!

bans This command displays in a private message to the user what, if any, weapons are banned.

mver Allows you to see the version of FK1099 the server is using and whether CRC Strict mode is off or on.

nowatch If an admin allows you to enter Game Watch Mode (GWM), this command allows you to EXIT this mode on your own without assistance from an Admin.

pcm # This allows you to private chat to a player by ID Number. If IDs in Names feature is on then you can press TAB to view the Names/Frag chart and see the ID prefixed to the name. if IDs in Names is OFF, then you must issue " id" first to obtain the Player's ID Number. This is useless if you are MUTED.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> COMMAND

You can still decide to allow this or NOT allow this command to be used. In FK1099, names can no longer crash the server, however, that still means players can get annoying with this command. There is a command ( nban # ) that will allow you to ban a player from changing names for one map.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> STRICT CRC OPTION

Added a number of CRC checks to the Mod, which will help limit some hacking. I am not listing them here, you will find out if you try to join with a custom skin, etc... Keep in mind that players will get a resources type error if they try joining with a server that runs this mod. I believe it is a small price to pay and that in the long run, it is just one small step to help keep skin exploits cheats to a minimum. This setting is OPTIONAL and not required.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> STRICT WEAPON/AMMO MODE

By enabling this option hackers can't use a weapon, i.e. Knife, to launch any ammo that the knife doesn't come with by default. This will also stop bad ammo values from crashing the server. On certain mods, this mode may cause weapons to NOT FUNCTION, in this case you will need to DISABLE this mode for the weapons to work. Sorry, I am not going to code for every mod. Besides, except for 1 or 2 mods, I highly doubt they would allow me access to their data.

REQUIREMENTS: Strict Ammo/Morphing Option must be ENABLED for this to be blocked. DO NOT USE ON CLIENT-SERVER MODS WHERE THE CODERS CHANGED THE WEAPONS OR CHARACTERS.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> ANTI-MORPHING HACK FIX

To combat the hacking that allows players to "Morph" into strange characters, I now check player character IDs.

REQUIREMENTS: Strict Ammo/Morphing Option must be ENABLED for this to be blocked. DO NOT USE ON CLIENT-SERVER MODS WHERE THE CODERS CHANGED THE WEAPONS OR CHARACTERS.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> CHAT GLITCH TO CRASH SERVER FIXED

If you try to crash the server using this glitch, you will be announced a hacker and kicked from the server. Sorry, I will not list what you have to do to cause this to happen. I do not want to cause trouble for other servers.

RC9 CHANGE: The symbol % symbol is now BANNED in all chat. It can be abused to crash servers. If you use the % symbol your message is DISCARDED and you will be asked to resend a message WITHOUT the % symbol.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> LITHSEC BUFFER PROBLEM FIXED

By hex editing this .REZ file and disabling SECURE messages, the server can not be crashed by causing a buffer over flow in SECURE..

COMMAND

In the FK1098 mod, admins had to run the server with command disabled. Now, this has been fixed. If a player tries using TSearch to hack the name while in game, they will be renamed to a Player_HN or NameHacker style name. Then they will be put into forced Observer Mode. Once this happens then they are disabled from using the command. Personally, I still like to leave this disabled but it is your choice.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> ANTI NAME HACK CODE

Added code to search thru a joiners name and determine if it contains chars that are ILLEGAL. If a Player joins with a hacked name, they get renamed to "Player_HN". It will be quite easy to tell if someone tries to join with a hacked name. Even with this code, I still HIGHLY recommend you DISABLE the command.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> RESERVED NAMES

The following names are now RESERVED and may not be used when joining, or by using command when enabled by an admin.

Player_HN Player_HNx (The x can be from 0 - 20)

This effectively reserves 22 new names. If a player joins this server and they are using one of these reserved names, then they tried to join with a HACKED name. Please feel free to ridicule them and tease.

You get the idea. This eliminates the necessity of having to use " id" command to retrieve the player's ID #. This is OPTIONAL, if enabled, the id command will not function except for admins.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> SERVER COMMAND GLITCH

Thanks to Braidedheadman, the players who do not have admin can no longer enter commands on level changes. The only downside is that this also prevents admins from doing repeated quick commands to advance a number of levels quickly, that is why the newmap command was made.

In FK1099, this has been fixed. Non-Admins are still blocked, and Admins are free to spam the map commands again.

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> TOTAL PLAYER CHAT LOGGING Added code to log ALL chat as requested by several admins. Team Chat will have one of the following in it: [TEAM-A], [TEAM-C], [TEAM-M], or [TEAM-P]. Private Chat will have something like this in it: [To: Player_xXx] in it or [To: 3-Player_0] if IDs in names are on.

<serv> ren <id#> <name>	Allows and admin to rename a player.  <id#> is the id of the player to be renamed. 
				<name> is the new player name you wish to assign. 

<serv> tks			Toggles whether you want to allow players to keep score/frags on only class change or not.  Species 
				change still resets to 0. 

<serv> tpc <id#>		Admin Player Chat Toggle.  This allows the admins ability to MUTE players.  Once muted, you can
				not Private Chat, Team Chat, or use Normal Chat.
				*****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

<serv> tfom <id#>		This command forces a player to enter observe mode and they can NOT get out without the admin re-
				doing  this command.  The side effect that FK1098 has has been fixed.  
				*****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

 <serv> tom <id#>		This allows the admin to put a player in a NON-RESTRICTIVE observe mode if need be, or themselves.  				
				A good use for this is if the admin needs to admin the server, or what not, you can go to observe mode
 				and do it. Another good use is if a player says AFK, you can get them into Observer Mode and get 					
				them out of the	way so they don't tie up a spawn point.


<serv> cpc <id#> <char#>	This command lets you change a player to a specific Species/Class.  If you want to change someone
				to a species the server is not configured for, you must be able to use: <serv> tosl command.  Some 
				L1 and L2 admins may not be able to use this command, depending on how the server operator sets it up.

				changes can be made except via admin command.

<serv> tosl			This toggles the Override Species Lock.  This allows you to put in species that are not setup in the server
				config file.  Then you use the cpc command to put someone in the species you want.  On a level change,
				they will NOT be in this species.  You will have to do it again, if you want a species that wasn't defined.
				*****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

<serv> dsa			Allows a L3 Admin to DISABLE L2 Admin Login and command access.  Usefull for passwords that may have been hijacked.

<serv> dwa			Allows a L3 Admin to DISABLE L1 Admin Login and command access.  Usefull for passwords that may have been hijacked.

<serv> gsc #			Gives Temp Server control to ID #.  They need not know your SC Password for you to give them 1 time server
	 			control. If they leave or an admin with the SC PW gains control, they lose it and can not get it back unless
	 			they know the PW or someone uses this command on them again. L3 ACCESS ONLY!

<serv> slock <PW>		This will allow you to change the server to a locked server.  <PW> is the password you want to set it to.  
				Only Numbers and Alpha are acceptable (0-9, a-z, A-z).  Due to the way the engine handles level changes,  
				everyone gets booted at the NEXT level change, BUT only those who know the password may rejoin.  The 
				only way to remove the locked condition is to REBOOT the server, or re-issue the "<serv> slock" command
				like this: "<serv> slock k".  To unlock, you need at least one character, and it (number or letter).   
				This command will allow ALL PLAYERS CURRENTLY IN GAME TO STAY IN THE SERVER.  The 
				plock command will operate the way slock used to, only people who you gave the PW to would know it.
				*****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

<serv> privl <PW>		This allows admins to lock the server and then they can private message who gets the password.  Useful to use, for 
				example, if you need to restart the server and not want to have to be right there to shut down between levels.
				*****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

<serv> dmhde #			This command is dedicated to the DMH brotherhood and DE Clan.  This command toggles a "Pred Melee vs
				Human Pistol/Shotgun" playing mode.  This command is OFF by default and must be toggled on in game.
				Once this command is on, the weapons that are NOT allowed will work exactly as they do while you are in 
				spawn mode.  They simply do not fire and cause damage to anyone.
				Preds can only use: Wristblades and Combistick
				Humans can only use: Knife, Pistol and shotgun
				Aliens can not STUN with tail, or cause STUN on pounce.
				Also, no exeosuit weapons will function either.  Aliens can attack as usual, it is up to the admin to decide
				whether to allow aliens to join this game.  But the way DMH/DE plays it, we do not allow aliens to be present.
	   			This is my gift to DMH and DE.  I recommend that the admins let all new players that joined know that only 
	 			these weapons will work, or they will have some angry players. 
				TO DEACTIVATE MELEE MODE USE: <serv> dmhde				
	
				FK1099RC2 FIXES:  Alien Stun is now disabled in melee mode.  If the humans make it to an ammo box, all classes
				receive shotguns and flamethrowers.  When DMHDE mode is turned off, all humans are respawned so that the extra
				weapons are removed.  Ammo Boxes will not function for Predators during DMHDE mode.	Requires AVP2ServFE
				v1.7.7.0 if you want to see the timed reminders.  The command will still work without the server app.  			

				FK1099RC6 CHANGES: Disabled Assault & Heavy Predator classes.  Have had a number of requests for this
				and made a new command that works in addition to DMHDE melee mode.  This command is: <serv> mmpulse
				What this command does is enables Assault and Heavy classes then allows humans to use the pulse rifle. 
				Don't worry, pulse nades DO NOT WORK during this mode of DMHDE Melee mode.  This command is a 
				seperate toggle and by default, is NOT enabled.  

				FK1099RC9 CHANGES: Light Predator is forbidden to use the Combi Stick during melee mode.  Give them an 
				unfair advantage.					

				NOTES:  THIS FEATURE REQUIRES AVP2ServFE to get the auto message for this command!!!!!!!!!!!!!
					IF YOU DO NOT USE AVP2ServFE APP, simply use: <serv> dmhde 0 to activate the command. 
					# can be 0 to 20.  If # is 0 or 1, then there is NO periodic timer message indicating that melee
					mode is on.  If is is 2 - 20, then it sets a Timer that a periodic timer will display a message
 					indicating MELEE MODE is on.  If # = 2, then approx. every 10 seconds you will see a 
					message pop up.  If set to 3 then every 15 seconds, 4 is every 20 seconds, and so on.
					20 would be approx. every 100 seconds.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VALUE OF 4 to 5!
				*****This stays set until server is restarted, or admin toggles it!*****

<serv> melemsg		This command will allow an admin to display for all to see, that melee mode is on and what weapons are allowed.  
				The command does take into account for <serv> mmpulse mode as well.  *** ALL ADMIN LEVELS *** 

<serv> rc			Release Admin Access.  ALL 3 Levels can use this command.  For L3 (SC) you lose the STAR icon.  

<serv> tpa #			Performs the actions of tfom and tpc commands.  Puts a player to Forced Observe Mode and MUTES them.
				*****This is reset on level change, and when player leaves the server!*****

<serv> tweap #			This changes the weapon banning settings.  If # is 0, that enables or disables ALL weapon banning.  It is
	 			equivelant to a master on/off switch.  Only 0 can be used by a Level 3 Admin.

<serv> nban #			If a player is abusuing the <name> command, this will cool their jets.  This toggles the ability of <name> commnand usuage.
				*****This is reset on level change!*****

<serv> watch # 			Puts a player ID # in Game Observe Mode.  Basically, it does TFOM, then CPC to an alien, then prevents Private Chat and
				Team Chat messages from working.  Usefull to Observe a game.  No more using 3+ commands to achieve the same effect!

<serv> autofom			If an admin is having trouble with hackers they can enable "Join Forced Observe Mode upon Joining".  This requires the admin
				to release player to play if they choose to do so.  NOTE: If you give L1 and/or L2 access to autofom, you NEED
				to give them access to TFOM as well, or joiners will be stuck in FOM until an admin with proper access
				can release them.

<serv> togfom #			This command command replaces RELFOM and ALLFOM and combines them  If # = 0, that releases all from TFOM, # = 1 for put all 
				players into TFOM.

<serv> evacwait			Special command for Evac Game mode.  The code for this was given to me by bunny-s and since I don't play evac, not too sure
				of what it does.

<serv> fommsg			Allows people to display the message about Auto FOM on join.  This is mostly used by admins, instead of retyping a message constantly.
				All 3 levels of admin automatically get access to this command.  Should be used to repeatedly explain AUTOFOM on JOIN mode to players.
				This command only works if autofom has been enabled.

<serv> shp # #			Due to the amount of jerks using God Mode type hacks.  The first # is the ID Number of the player.  If you want to show the whole server 
				what someone's health is, then the second #  must be 1.  I repeat, the second # must be 1. 
				<serv> shp 1      <---Would view ID 1's Health PRIVATELY
				<serv> shp 1 1   <---Would view ID 1's Health for ALL in the server to see.
				This command could be usefull to see if someone's health is not valid.  I highly don't recommend using the public view unless you see
				something WAY out of line.

<serv> csl			Toggles whether players can only select characters while in spawn mode or not.  The commands TSL, TTSL, TSCL, TCCL will override any 
				character selection ability.  If TSL is on then NO ONE may change characters at all except admins for example.  See the above commands 
				for what they restrict.

<serv> maxpl #			Set the maximum allowed player slots.  Takes effect on next map change.  Min value is 2 and max value is 16.

<serv> setdm # #		FOR DM & TEAMDM ONLY!  This command allows you to change species configuration.  The first number is the OPTION to set.
				OPTIONS:  0 = Aliens, 1 = Marines, 2 = Predators, 3 = Corporates.
				The second value is the number of player slots for that species.
				Example:  <serv> setdm 1 2    
				The above example sets 2 player slots for the Aliens.  This command takes effect next map change.  This is just an experiment to see
				if this works well.  The other game modes will follow if successfull.
				NOTE:  Since I am basically done modding AVP2, the other game modes probably will not be included.

<serv> access			This command lists the command your admin access level has.  Use the following table to decipher the commands:

New shortened STANDARD server commands are available.  These commands are (they are NOT case sensitive):
Standard Server commands are NO LONGER AVAILABLE so that I can add many more commands. 

<serv> sc <password>   	Same as <serv> control <password>  Just replace <password> with the proper Server Control Passowrd.
	 			This is the command all 3 Admin Levels login with.  If you use the L1 password, you get logged in as a L1
				Admin.  If you use the L2 password, you are logged in as L2 Admin.  If you use the password from the Server
				config file (L3, Server Control), then you are logged in as L3 admin and get the control STAR Icon.  L1 and L2
				admins can ONLY be identified using "<serv> admins" command.

<serv> rc			Release server control (L1/L2/L3).

<serv> qscl <password> 	NOTE: Only valid for L1/L2 logins.  This allows a L1/L2 admin to login UN-ANNOUNCED (Silent).

COMMAND ALL PLAYERS CAN ACCESS:

<serv> snc			Shows the Name changing Status. 

<serv> sks			Shows whether or not a player can keep their Frags/Score when a Class Only change to their character is made.
				On a Species change, it will RESET to 0 as normal.. 

<serv> admins			This command will list the security level and ID# of any admin logged in.  Can be used to see if there truly are
				any admins logged in.

<serv> id			This command is a remake of my old "lp" command.  This will ONLY show the IDs and NAMEs to the player
				that called up the command.  This command is ONLY valid when IDs in Names are DISABLED.  If IDs in
	 			Names are on, use the TAB key to view the frag list. Keep in mind that on 16 player servers, it WILL 
				be a challenge to try to get the first few names!

<serv> bans			This command displays in a private message to the user what, if any, weapons are banned.  

<serv> mver			Allows you to see the version of FK1099 the server is using and whether CRC Strict mode is off or on.

<serv> nowatch			If an admin allows you to enter Game Watch Mode (GWM), this command allows you to EXIT this mode on your own 
				without assistance from an Admin. 

<serv> pcm # <message>	This allows you to private chat to a player by ID Number.  If IDs in Names feature is on then you can press TAB to view
				the Names/Frag chart and see the ID prefixed to the name.  if IDs in Names is OFF, then you must issue "<serv> id"
				first to obtain the Player's ID Number.  This is useless if you are MUTED.

<---------------------------------------------------->
			<name> COMMAND

You can still decide to allow this or NOT allow this command to be used.  In FK1099, names can no longer
crash the server, however, that still means players can get annoying with this command.  There is a command
( <serv> nban # ) that will allow you to ban a player from changing names for one map.

			STRICT CRC OPTION

Added a number of CRC checks to the Mod, which will help limit some hacking.  I am not listing them here, 
you will find out if you try to join with a custom skin, etc...  Keep in mind that players will get a
resources type error if they try joining with a server that runs this mod.  I believe it is a small price
to pay and that in the long run, it is just one small step to help keep skin exploits cheats to a minimum.  
This setting is OPTIONAL and not required.

			STRICT WEAPON/AMMO MODE

By enabling this option hackers can't use a weapon, i.e. Knife, to launch any ammo that the knife doesn't come with by default.  This will 
also stop bad ammo values from crashing the server.  On certain mods, this mode may cause weapons to NOT FUNCTION, in this case
you will need to DISABLE this mode for the weapons to work.  Sorry, I am not going to code for every mod.  Besides, except for 1 or 2
mods, I highly doubt they would allow me access to their data.

REQUIREMENTS: Strict Ammo/Morphing Option must be ENABLED for this to be blocked.  DO NOT USE ON CLIENT-SERVER MODS
WHERE THE CODERS CHANGED THE WEAPONS OR CHARACTERS.

			ANTI-MORPHING HACK FIX

To combat the hacking that allows players to "Morph" into strange characters, I now check player character IDs.  

REQUIREMENTS: Strict Ammo/Morphing Option must be ENABLED for this to be blocked.  DO NOT USE ON CLIENT-SERVER MODS
WHERE THE CODERS CHANGED THE WEAPONS OR CHARACTERS.

			CHAT GLITCH TO CRASH SERVER FIXED

If you try to crash the server using this glitch, you will be announced a hacker and kicked from the server.  Sorry, I will not list
what you have to do to cause this to happen.  I do not want to cause trouble for other servers.

RC9 CHANGE:  The symbol % symbol is now BANNED in all chat.  It can be abused to crash servers.  If you use the % 
symbol your message is DISCARDED and you will be asked to resend a message WITHOUT the % symbol.

			LITHSEC BUFFER PROBLEM FIXED

By hex editing this .REZ file and disabling \SECURE\ messages, the server can not be crashed by causing a buffer over flow in \SECURE\..

			<name> COMMAND

In the FK1098 mod, admins had to run the server with <name> command disabled.  Now, this has been fixed.  If a player
tries using TSearch to hack the name while in game, they will be renamed to a Player_HN or NameHacker style name.  Then they will be put into 
forced Observer Mode. Once this happens then they are disabled from using the <name> command.   Personally, I still like to 
leave this disabled but it is your choice.

			ANTI NAME HACK CODE

Added code to search thru a joiners name and determine if it contains chars that are ILLEGAL.
If a Player joins with a hacked name, they get renamed to "Player_HN".  It will be quite easy to tell
if someone tries to join with a hacked name.  Even with this code, I still HIGHLY recommend you DISABLE the <name> command.

			RESERVED NAMES

The following names are now RESERVED and may not be used when joining, or by using <name> command 
when enabled by an admin.  

Player_HN
Player_HNx   (The x can be from 0 - 20)

This effectively reserves 22 new names.   If a player joins this server and they are using one of these 
reserved names, then they tried to join with a HACKED name.  Please feel free to ridicule them and tease.

You get the idea.  This eliminates the necessity of having to use "<serv> id" command to retrieve 
the player's ID #.  This is OPTIONAL, if enabled, the id command will not function except for admins.

			SERVER COMMAND GLITCH

Thanks to Braidedheadman, the players who do not have admin can no longer enter commands on level changes.
The only downside is that this also prevents admins from doing repeated quick commands to advance a number of
levels quickly, that is why the <serv> newmap command was made.

In FK1099, this has been fixed.  Non-Admins are still blocked, and Admins are free to spam the map commands
again.

Added code to log ALL chat as requested by several admins.  
Team Chat will have one of the following in it: [TEAM-A], [TEAM-C], [TEAM-M], or [TEAM-P].

in names are on.

II.     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIN2K/XP/2K3SVR SYSTEMS

NOTE: I have been getting reports that Windows 2000 Server and maybe even Windows 2000 Pro has issues
           with using a Server Side Mod (ObjectLTO).  I have even witnessed the timing in the game being very, very
           rapid.  Up to 3x faster or more than the normal game. 

To install the FK1099 server-side mod you must perform a few steps:

INSTALLING ON A NON-DEDICATED SERVER:  

(1)  Place FK1099RC9.REZ in the root of your game directory (ie: C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2\).

(2)  Start the game normally.

(3)  When the splash screen appears, click "OPTIONS" in the main start up menu. 

(4)  Enter the following command-line into the space provided:  -rez FK1099RC9.REZ

(5)  Place an "x" in the box that says: "Always specify these command-line parameters"

(6)  Click PLAY and play the game.


INSTALLING ON A DEDICATED SERVER:

NOTE: The Server app mod "AVP2ServFE.EXE" will not run on the following OSes: Win 95, 98, 98se, ME

(1)  Create a file called "customrez.txt" in the root of your Alien vs. Predator 2 game folder. 
       Note: See my site for a sample of customrez.txt.  My sample requires the .rez file to be in the same folder as your
	    AVP2 Executable files are in!
	
	Put in the customrez.txt the following info:

	[Rez]
	Rez0="FK1099RC9.REZ"

(2)  Place FK1099RC9.REZ in the root of your game directory (ie: C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2\).

(3)  Run the FK1099CFGRC8.EXE program on your computer.  Set all the options.  Click MAKE FK1099.TXT and place the FK1099.TXT file in 
      the same folder as the AVP2 .EXE files are located.  If you have an FTP server, UPLOAD FK1099.TXT to your rented server, 
      be sure to place it in the SAME folder that the .EXE files for AVP2 are located in.

(4)  If you use AVP2ServFE Server App, be sure to put that file in the main AVP2 Folder where the other .EXE files arelocated.  Then on your 
      PC, be sure AVP2SERVFECONFIG.EXE is in your AVP2 FOLDER, then run it and set all   options.  Click MAKE AVP2_MOTD.DAT 
      and be sure this file is in your main AVP2 Folder.  If you RENT a server, then be sure to UPLOAD this file to the main AVP2 Folder on 
      your server where the .EXE files are located.

(4)  Start the Server up

(5) Play the game.

III.  KNOWN ISSUES

			ANTI SPAWN KILL PROTECTION

Ammo Usage:
When in Spawn Protection Mode, a player may attempt to fire his/her weapon. 
Weapons will appear to use up ammo/energy, but as soon as they exit Spawn Protection Mode and
subsequently use a weapon, ammo/energy will be restored to full as if no expenditure has occured.

Mysteriously out of spawn mode upon respawning:
This is EASY to fix, quite pressing keys after death.  It does NOT make you spawn faster and will 
bring you out of spawn mo

<------------------------------------------------------------->
			AVP2SERVFE REQUIRED FOR DMHDE FULL FEATURED COMMAND

Only one command requires the AVP2ServFE app for full functionality.  DMHDE Command.  It will still work if you
do NOT use the server app.  You jsut will not see the periodic timed messaged for that command.

Windows NT, Windows 2000(Pro and Server), Windows XP(Pro and Home), Windows 2003 Server

This is due to the app being a bit more customized for running Unicode, which is a NT Operating System trait.

Windows 95, 98, 98se, ME will simply NOT run the lastest AVP2ServFE versions. If you are serious about running 
a decent server, please get an Operating System that can truly RUN IT WELL.

			IDs IN NAMES ISSUES			

Issue #1 with IDs in names:

This can cause the game to name players in the following way:

2-Player_0
5-Player_0

In other words, your server can have multiple "Player_0" join the server.  This is NOT a bug, but an issue with how
Lithtech handles player names and checking for duplicates.  This multiple name but different ID issue can occur with
any name, not just player_0.  While I do not consider this much of an issue, I will try to resolve it in the 
future. But as long as IDs are in the name, each person in the server is identifiable.  When addressing a player, I
recommend you inlude their ID and address them with the FULL NAME and not just by what is after the ID- part.

Issue #2 with IDs in Names: 

If a NAME starts with a number and it happens to match the actual Client ID they get assigned, you will NOT see the
#- or ##-.  See the following example:

Someone with a name "1ee7" joins, and get Client ID 1, they will be named: 1ee7
This simply means that their ID is 1.  So you can still use the ID Commands on these players.

			"<SERV> TOSL" and "<SERV> CPC # #" COMMAND ISSUE

The issue with the "<serv> tosl" command is if you enable it and use "<serv> cpc # #" command to switch someone
to a species that the server config has NOT been configured for, this species will not be listed in the TAB list, under the 
Teams listing. This will not affect gameplay, except you can't see the species total frags.  I have not tested whether a 
species not listed and whether they can win or not.

			"<SERV> SLOCK <pw>" ISSUE


Setting the lock:  <serv> slock priserv    		This sets the password to "priserv"
Unlocking it      :  <serv> slock 1			This will unlock the server, and YES, some sort of text is needed after
						the slock part of the command.  Anything will do, as long as it is a letter
 						or number.

			L1 & L2 ADMIN FEATURE NOTE

I was going to rename all admins L1 and L2 with special characters in the names, however, I scrapped this idea.  Use the
command "<serv> admins" to get a complete list of server admins.  I will even list the L3 Server Controller Admin.  However,
this L3 (SC) will still get the STAR icon as usual.  But do to the bug in the ClientShellDLL that I can not fix in a server side
mod, sometimes the STAR icon appears on peoples name who really DOES NOT have admin access.  The admins command
will tell you FOR SURE if anyone on the server has it currently.

			DMHDE Melee Mode Issue

When toggled on, humans will respawn with shotgun and flamer, all classes.  But from this point on, they must get to an ammo
box to obtain shotgun/flamer unless their class already comes with it by default.  Once they get to the ammo box, then they get
these weapons and complete ammo.  I am trying to find a way around this.  Also, on initial activation of melee mode, all preds get
the combi stick.  After that, they will not all get it.
