This map is inspired by the old "Aliens Online" map Coronado. It's not an exact remake, but those of you lucky enough to have played that game while it was out will recognize parts of the map (mainly the top floor).
Title: Ghost Ship Dat Filename(s): ghostship Author: Cookiepuss!! (joel123 AT mindspring DOT com) Description: AVP2 Level Game Type: Deathmatch; Team deathmatch Recommended Number of Players: 2-8 Instalation: 1) Place ghostship.dat file in the following place: FOX\Aliens vs. Predator\Maps\Worlds\Multi\DM 2) You probably know this already: Go to options menu when AVP2 first starts up (the one with the picture of the queen). You must add the following to the command line (make sure to check the "always use" box): -rez maps One thing I should make clear, this map is NOT -- I repeat NOT -- part of or affiliated with the current AO2 project. However, AO2 looks like its going to be a terrific mod; make sure to go check them out. By the way, about the weapon placement: All the good stuff -- pred disk and pistol, and minigun, smartgun, sadar and sniper gun are all in the darker downstairs level. Humans can stay upstairs where there's more light, but only have access to small weapons; or they can go down in the dark for the good stuff. Personally, I think the disk is for panty-waist crumpet munchers, but since not everyone feels that way I put it in (yes, grudgingly). However, its in a tricky spot, and preds will have to work for it. See if you can find it in the large hangar room downstairs. The pred speargun is in on a mezzanine near the top floor middle area (get there via a ladder in the rear balcony that goes to vents over the green lighted hibernation room). I Didn't put any prox mines in the ammo boxes only because in a tight quarters map like this a prox-happy human can ruin the game. That's it. Bon Apetite.
