######################################################################### # [CFCG] The !Freak! ## [email protected] ## http://www.cfcg.de.vu # ######################################################################### Thanks for using my scriptX. First of all: I am not a native English so please don't argue about wrong phrases and words ^^. scriptX is a very small add-in for America's Army: Operations. Its function is simple: adding messages to actions. I bet everyone of you hate it when you throw a M67 and an allied runs straight on because he heard your warning too late. ScriptX will add Messages for the following actions: - Throwing a M67, smoke, flash - Reloading - Fix Jam Problems - Medic report - "Save my ass!" reports Further adds are planned for the next version, f.e. reports for enemy positions (mountain, basin,... stuff like that). Ok, now, how do I install scriptX? - Just copy the scriptX folder into your AA-System folder (f.e. E:\America's_Army\System). Once this is done, there are just some few things to do else. Before I forget this 1: dont bind anything to F12 and F11! They're needed for the script. Unbind the when in use! First, you have to bind the wished keys. Open the scriptX folder and go on to the folder "active". Open the "executer.txt". Here you see some lines, in each a "#". This you can replace with the key you wish (for special keys look in your user.ini file, located in your AA System folder, if you don't know the binding word), f.e. "NumPad5". This would look like: bind NumPad5 exec scriptX/active/#frag.txt Do this with all the lines in the file. Ok, next step: the messages. Each one has a own file, 7 files in total. Open them. I have already written sth., so you don't need to change this. But if you wish, change everything behind "teamsay " (Don't remove the space!). Next 1 is the unbinded function of scriptX: if you want to get rid of these disturbing messages, you need this. Go back and open the "inactive" folder. There is only one file: executer.txt Replace again all the "#"s with the same keys (and the same order ^^) as you did in the other executer.txt. Well done! that was (almost) everything. Now I tell you in 2 steps how to use scriptX: 1. Start AA, join a server 2. Open the console, and type following EXACTLY (important! don't change folder names!) "exec scriptX/X.txt". Great, scriptX is started. Press F12 to activate action-messaging, F11 for deactivation. Fell free to mail me suggestions of further add-ins, tips, bugs, ... ###Greetz ###to all CFCG allied ###and CFCG itself. [CFCG] The !Freak!
