Valid for AA:O version 2.0 (Special Forces) Install at your own risk. =================== INSTALLAION & NOTES =================== WARNING: I've added my own M4 Mods to this release, if you do not wish to install them simply do NOT extract the WeaponMods.ini file! Easy Installation: ----------------------- WARNING: Using the "Easy" install will delete your previous key selection, so uninstalling is not an option! 1) Extract all files found inside this *.zip file into your ArmyOps/System (Default is C:\Program Files\Army Operations\System). 2) Load AA:O, Go to "Personnel Jacket", Enter your username and password and click "Log In". Normal Installation: -------------------------- 1) Create a backup of your User.ini file found in your ArmyOps/System Folder (Rename it User.ini.bak). 2) Extract all files found inside this *.zip file into your ArmyOps/System (Default is C:\Program Files\Army Operations\System). 3) Load AA:O, Go to "Personnel Jacket", Enter your username and password and click "Log In"(If you don't remember them open your ORIGINAL ini file (the one you backup up) with notepad, do a search for "password" - that line holds your password and the one above is your username). Frag-Out System: ------------------------ * You can now enable and disable "Frag Out" saying when you throw a grenade, Pressing left arrow will disable this system while right arrow will enable it. - Here is how it works, when the don’t say "Frag Out" mode is set (right arrow) every time you press fire on nade it will switch you to walk, when you change back to a weapon (or smoke/flash) it will switch back to run (not sprint). - It will only work if you are in 'run' (not sprint), if you are in 'walk' it will not work! - This system will NOT work if you got "Auto Swap From Grenade" on! If you got it on then you can press F10 to enable a special version of the “No Frag-Out” system, but in here you will have to press Shift after each throw! - This system is far from being perfect, but it's the best there is, and it's much better then nothing! - This system is on by Default, so you will not shout "Frag Out". Hand Signals: ------------------ * Since 1.4.0 if you start a hand signal, you must finish it! Meaning you cannot fire. - Because of this you can now turn on and off the hand signals, turn on with the Up arrow, and off with the Down arrow. - With the hand signals on, some buttons will show (as well as say) the action ('Roger', 'Negative', 'Move Out', 'Stop', 'Enemy Spotted', 'Take Cover' & 'Grenade, Take Cover'). - This feature is off by Default, so no Hand Signals. Auto-ReportIn: ------------------- * You can auto reportin in your location when you say 'Area Secured' & 'Cover Me' or when you call a medic. - Turn on with '+' and off with '-' (in the numpad). - This feature is on by Defualt. Lock All Features: ------------------------ * Toggle On/Off by pressing F11. all of the special features keys (Up, Down, Left, Right, NUM Plus & NUM Minus) will not work. - A message will appear stating you cannot change while locked (in teamsay). - This feature is ON by default. ================= TIPS & WHATS NEW ================= Tips: ------ * 2 versions of Key Layout - First is for normal viewing and Second is 270 degrees off for easier printing. - So print the KeyChart (Printable).jpg. - Also one for the Num-Pad. NEW in V8: ---------------- * Works with AAO 2.0! * New system in order to switch between the different Mods. - Info can be found in THIS readme file under "Mods System" * Some keys have changed in order to make room for new 2.0 keys - n is now for Pistol - m is now for suppressor - , is now for the weapon mods - Since AAO 2.0 added a new type of grenade, it had to take place in the key "5", therefore i've moved all of the bind there (5,6,7,8,9,0,-,=) one key to the right and removed Enemy Spotted (was =). - It means that Roger is now 6, Negetive is now 7, Moveout is now 8... * My weapon mods have been added, ability to add more, check info under "Mods System" * This is the same thing just like V7.0, i didn't plan on releasing this till i got e-mails from ppl asking me to do it... It seems that i cannot leaving the comm pack making business! * Sorry for the keys that were removed, if you think other keys could be taken out instead, just let me know! NEW in V7.2: ------------------ * Pressing the Call Medic button will now radio the Medic request (you will still be marked on the Medic's compass) and not shout it (so the enemy wont hear you). - You will be able to press that button even if you are NOT hurt, this will not mark you on the Medic's compass. - If you do not wanna use this feature, then go to Settings, Control, Communication. In there you will see 2 "Call Medic" keys, an advanced one and a basic one. Assign F6 to the basic one to shout "MEDIC". * F5 will now shout "Frag Out". - Can be used to trick the bad guys. * , will now shout "Stop so i could treat you" (same as when a medic starts healing). - Can be used when you are a medic chasing a wounded guy. * It seems a certain command in AAO (CommoSquad) is bugged, therefore the entire NUMPAD SSG Messages didn't work. - I fixed it by going around the command... NEW in V7.1 (Not Released): --------------------------------------- * It seems a certain command in AAO (CommoSquad) is bugged, therefore the entire NUMPAD SSG Messages didn't work. - I fixed it by going around the command... - Update only needed if you ever used any of the SSG Messages. NEW in V7.0: ------------------ * Didn't really plan on releasing this one out... - I've been updating my own bindings ever since the last version, but been too lazy to update the comm pack. * Works with V1.9. * Mousewheel up for Enemy Spotted & Mousewheel down for Reportin. * F6 will now call for medic. At first i had it yell I'm hit, then call a medic, but it was useless & dumb so i removed it. * The Auto-ReportIn system will now also report in when u call for a medic. * Added & Removed some controls from the Control Menu, feel free to edit those that are there (I removed those you should not edit). - Was too lazy to add all of the Quick Comms (North, South, West, East, Up, Down, Left & Right are not there, maybe even more). - I've added the backuped KeyBindings.ini file (It controls what appears in the control menu), it is named KeyBindings.ini.bak. * More stuff i added so long ago i just can't remember! - Oh, changed the HUD color just a bit, from 135 to 140. NEW in V6.0: ------------------ * When u use any of the special features, it will now say so in Teamsay. * Tab will now fire (Best used with sniper rifle, to enable shooting without moving the mouse). * Special "No Frag-Out" for those with "Auto Swap From Grenade", see details in "Frag-Out System". * Improved this Readme.txt file - Added more credits... * Fixed bug with Fixjam while in Whisper and Shout modes (Thx for someone for posting it in the forums, contact me if u want your name in the credit section!) * New feature - You can now LOCK all features by pressing F11. - F11 is used both to lock and to unlock. - While on, all the special features keys (Up, Down, Left, Right, NUM Plus & NUM Minus) will not work, and will display a message stating so. - This feature is ON by default. NEW in V4.5: ------------------- * It seems there was a problem with the "Frag Out" System, It is now fixed! * It seems there is a bug/feature in 1.4.0: if you start a hand signal, you must finish it! Meaning you cannot fire. - Because of this you can now turn on and off the hand signals, turn on with the Up arrow, and off with the Down arrow. - I will keep it open myself, until it kills me! But I added this feature (and made this release) for those who already died by it... (Saying "Enemy Spotted" will disable your shooting ability for 5 seconds... OOCH!) * The Numpad are now full in SSG only msg's (Due to a request someone sent me). - They will only work WITH THE NUM LOCK ON! - New *.jpg files with the keys * MANY errors in the Key Layout image are now fixed. * Out.txt and Frag.txt have been renamed, also 2 new *.txt files. NEW in V4.0: ------------------- Not sure if all will be listed... * If you hold Crtl you can wait until "Grenade" is ended, then leaving Crtl will shout "Take Cover", in stand of the previous "Take Cover" Only. * The shortcuts for the different comm modes (Shout, Radio, Global and Whisper) now do not open the comm cycle window when you press on them. * Area Secure and Cover Me (9 and 0) will now report in as well (Your mates should know what area is secured... same for cover me). * You can now enable and disable "Frag Out" saying when you throw a grenade, Pressing left arrow will say "Frag Out" while right arrow will cancel it. - Here is how it works, when the don’t say "Frag Out" mode is set (right arrow) every time you press fire on nade it will switch you to walk, when you release it will switch back to run (not sprint). - If you press and leave the mouse button it will say "Frag Out", but if you hold it, it will not say "Frag Out". - 2 New files: Frag.txt & Out.txt - Both are used for the new "Frag Out" System. - It will only work if you are in 'run' (not sprint), if you are in 'walk' it will not work! * F10 Will now say "Good Job, Solider" If you are Squad Leader (SSG). * F11 Will now say "Great Job, Team" If you are Squad Leader (SSG).
