In a post launch blog post Anthem have stated that they are committed to seeing through Anthem, the issues, the community feedback and the future of the game. General Manager of BioWare Casey Hudson stated that it had been "a rougher launch than expected" relating to all the bugs and negative feedback the game received, the honesty is appreciated but EA will be growing frustrated at BioWare as Anthems launch was supposed to be clean, exciting and a no frills affair to take the game to the top of the charts.
The post also alludes to some positive gamer feedback being that people genuinely did feel that Anthem is a very good game, just as it was billed to be but the bugs were generally frustrating and sapping that positive energy away. Casey Hudson said that a lot of issues did not reveal themselves until the game had started to operative to the scale of millions of players, he also continued with the fact that in the first few weeks after launch the team had delivered over 200 improvements via patches and live updates right across the game.
Casey left a clear message in his post which sums up BioWare and that they won't give up, they'll do everything they can to make this game into something that will capture the hearts and minds of everyone who plays it:
We hear the criticisms and doubts. But we’ll keep going anyway, working hard every day on Anthem – an ever-changing world, constantly improving and growing, and supported well into the future by our team of passionate developers.
