A mysterious 'Crypto Laptop' has appeared in Apex Legends 2, ahead of the launch of Season 2, and many suspect it may be a hint of a new character.
The laptop does not actually appear to do much, at least for the moment, but it's currently theorized that it's a tease for a new character called Crypto, who hasn't yet been officially announced. It would make sense, though.
The story goes that Crypto will be the one who disables the repulser towers on the island, setting free the flyers and leviathans that will be invading in Season 2.

This tweet from the official account seems to all but confirm the theory.
