Definitly the Sovereign Class Enterprise. The standard Galaxy Class Enterprise would come second.

Absolutely the Sovereign. It's by far the most streamlined and graceful design. Where the Constitution is blocky and fairly primitive, the Sovereign is streamlined, graceful, and modern. Truly a flagship, but also a work of art. -CanadianBorg P.S. Resistance is futile, eh?

best looking for the feds is the sovy, but best looking in ST is the D'deridex. That ship is just awesome

Sovereign all the way! Best looking one out of all of them.

most elegant looking.... definitely the galaxy class with its "elegant" saucer section. :donut: if you asked for the most agressive design i would answer: sovereign

Constitution Refit I feel has the greatest design over any starship. Sovereign would be second for me.

Personally, I prefer the Monarch class. (Enterprise J) It is my premier flagship on my game. but the Sovereign is cool too. But any fan of trek should appreciate the original Constitution class. No other class in starfleet is more revered than they are.

Guys they are spaceships intended for travel across dangerous nebulae, particle-weapon combat and general space flight,....not yatchs.. I think practicality and performance are better than appearance which goes without saying the Sovereign is my choice

NX Enterprise...dunno why i just like it.

I've long thought the Enterprise-B to be gorgeous ... a graceful and elegant design. The Sovereign is a close second, although their charms are rather different, IMHO.

For me: 1) NCC-1701-B (I'm a sucker for Excelsiors) 2) NCC-1701-A (Something about seeing it in spacedock with the lights on...) 3) NCC-1701-E (Sovie is hot, armed to the teeth, and fast as hell)

just to confirm, the constitution refit, is not the same ship as the 1701a ;)

Ok, what Class is it then? Because both inside and out, it looks identical to a Constitution Refit.

 #15 - 1701-A Is a Connie Refit - Posted by: rattler20200 (Member) on 11-01-2008 at 13:52

Um... The Enterprise-A is a Constitution Refit. Here's the proof. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701-A)

Yeah, how was the Enterprise-A not a refit Constitution class?

haha, you guys never cease to amuse me. You do realise we are commenting on a fictional ship, from a tv show right? You can quote me as many websites as u like, but all that matters is what's on screen. The original refit we see in the motion picture, is quite different from the later 'A' we see. It has many subtle differences, internally and externally. (the different bridge layout should give u a clue)

You can say the same about the Galaxy Class bridge. They are different for each ship, even for the same ship sometimes. There are subtle differences due to different or slightly more advanced technology.

Ships often get many small refits and occasionally they get a major refit, like the Constitution. The differences between the original Costitution refit and the Enterprise-A are simply because of more advancements in technology.

#20 - Posted by: Avon (Member) on 11-02-2008 at 06:56

Ok, ask yourself this question. If the 'A' is a refit, what is it a refit of? The Enterprise was destroyed, remember. The spec for the Constitution was upgraded. Subsequently, some of the old style connies were 'refitted' to the new spec (like the Enterprise) However, any new built connies would be built to the new spec from scratch and are clearly not 'refits'. Therefor calling it a 'refit-class' makes no sense. The Enterprise A was not a refit, but a freshly built connie. A totally different animal to the old, refitted version.
