Big ups to jnadreth for the poll idea. For me, nobody's easier to beat than the UFP. Probably because they're intended that way in stock.

Blasted Romulans never even build turrets... And I take every advantage I can get. -CanadianBorg P.S. Resistance is futile, eh?

the feds are most easily beatable. Why? Simply: sovereign: 650hp, Galaxy: 720hp while all the other races have battleships with hp over 900.

Klingons and Cardies I edit them the least :p, and when I update them, I always forget to edit the AI. I think that's way to much work

#5 - how could it be 8472 - Posted by: Eluvatar (Staff) on 08-24-2008 at 20:35

I have always found that 8472 were the hardest to defeat how could it be second to the top. and why so little on the donuts :donut::furious:

Here's how I see it, stock 8472's easiest to beat early in the game, stock Cardies are easiest to beat late in the game, and the Feds are easiest to beat any time if you take out their technology. Still, 8472 might be easiest overall because all you have to do is run in and kill the Mother, which has significantly less HP than a Starbase, and make sure all the Larvae are dead and the AI will stop building ships even if it has more resources. A small Qeh'Ral task force with a Weapon Enhancer could pretty much end Species 8472.

Thestarfleetkid-your welcome I voted for 8472 cuz they have the weakest starbase out of the lot and they only ever build 1 blue builder thingy unlike the others who build 2-5 construction ships. Having less builders and a weak starbase makes for a quick defeat when u send a 16 ships fleet on a suicide mission to eradicate the enemy. Cardies are harder cuz the dreadnought weapon has no AI settings in-game and so will fly at the enemy on its own accord which can be a nightmare for the Cardies themselves as I found out when 8 of them detonated the enemy while the were smack in the middle of my defences-I had to runaway to fight another day after that masacre;)

good poll. the roms are easy to beat when they come cloaked. and the caradassian small ships are just moskitos. but I dont have a "easiest" - I played that game so often, I find them all too easy to beat.

I vote for the Romulans, especially because of the AI. They'll sit at your base cloaked, which is enough time to make a Fusion Cube and a Sensor Array. Boom!

Yeah, when I'm annoyed, I just make a couple TFCs and take out my frustrations on the AI. I play as the Federation mostly though.

I tend to play as mod races more often than not eg Romulan Earth war races, Star Wars KOTOR fleet command etc etc They tend to be more interesting. Out of the stock races I tend to play as the Feds plus a few Moded fed ships. Never play as the Borg though?

This is just something to spice up your victory/defeat (if the latter, right before you start eating doughnuts). That's all.

To me, they are all the same (except 8472) because my preferance is to get 16 Assault Ships with all systems upgraded and attack the base to take over everything.

 #18 - Help - Posted by: cpeterson (Member) on 08-29-2008 at 07:06

I downloaded a mod from us capital, and I can't get it to work. I copied the files into their respective folders, but the readme says I need to modify some more files and I do not know how to do this. Can someone help me. The mod is three stargate ships. Thanks

I've always found the Federation the easiest to beat.. In Armada 1, I always found it tough to fight the Klingons and Borg due to the fact that their ships were actually hard to see on the map thus making it hard to give your ships orders to attack specific ships...plus the Jach'eng is a beast of a weapon
