Last week, in a poll requested by the Future Tense team, we took a break from our poll's asking you about the different missions from Armada 1 campaign's and instead looked at what resolution you play the game at. This information, whilst handy for the team, suggests most of you play it as high as you possibly can, not just what makes the game run at best speed. Still, can't say much more then that!
As usual though, we have the comments for you to read. Enjoy!

This weeks poll is brought to you by the Future Tense team. If your running a mod then please remember we will try and help as much as possible and we are quite happy to post polls etc to ask questions if it helps you out.

I play A2 on a Toshiba A55 lappie with a 1.6Ghz Celeron and 768MB of RAM.
I have a slightly adapted version of Midnight Universe installed and nearly every single stock ship and station replaced or modded. 1024x768 at 75MHz works very well for me. altho the OS whines a little when there are more than 200 objects onscreen. My son runs A2 on a Dell with a nuclear-powered graphics card and Vistas. I think his resolution is 1440xsomething or other. P81's ships look stunning against Midnight Universe on his monitor. You can almost reach out and touch them.

How do I set my screen res to 1280x1024? I have other games set to this but I can't set A2 any bigger than 1024x768

if you have a 1280x1024 capable monitor you should be able to put it to 1280x960. The poll is slightly off because until the guys over at fleetops release 3.0 final the game is limited to 4:3 resolutions so no 1280x1024 or widescreen resolutions

Not to be rude, but you all do see the large A1 in the titel, yes?
Anywho, I run A1 at 640x480. It was the default. I tried setting it higher once but it made all the words blurry.

To be fair Adam, when Freyr put the poll up it did say A2, I edited to read A1. A bit of mis-communication-thingy-ma-bob going on there.

I currently run Armada I with Alliances 1.1 on a Gateway NX2000 series Notebook with an external 17" CTX CRT Monitor it dose very well, except the mouse cursor moves very slowly and makes it hard to play with a trackpad and Nebula / Dustclouds slow the game down so its almost unplayable

Well when it comes to A1, exact same settings as A2 cept i have to turn down the directsound a little cause Armada 1 likes to fight with my soundcard
