This is a complete rework of Argoborg's armored cube 4.0. All SOD/Original Textures credit go to the aforementioned.

In this release you have a completely independent cube that is not dependent upon the stock borg cube.It also has it's own wireframes,build buttons,armor engage/disengage buttons.It uses one SOD for both engaged/disengaged modes.It also sports a completely new texture set that fits the cube's look in engaged or disengaged mode.(Which are two different textures, one for engaged - one for disengaged.The ship icons alternate when switching between the two modes of armored or non-armored,as well as the actual armor engage/disengage button.

This is a complete rework of Argoborg's armored cube 4.0. All SOD/Original Textures credit go
to the aforementioned.

In this release you have a completely independent cube that is not dependent upon the stock

Now for the install.

Start by entering all relevant info below into the specified files.

Navigate to your techtree folder and open fulltech.tt and move to the last borg entry just
above the first borgpod entry and enter:

ATC001.odf 0
ATC002.odf 0
transtorp.odf 0
armor.odf 0
armorre.odf 0

Make sure to add a space back seperating the armorre.odf 0 from the first borg pod entry..
now save and close fulltech.tt..

Open tech1.tt and enter the following at the last entry in the borg ships section:

ATC001.odf   1 byard.odf                            // battleship (armored cube)
ATC002.odf   1 byard.odf                            // battleship (armored cube)

now move down to the borg special weapons section at the last entry add the following:

transtorp.odf 0
armor.odf 0
armorre.odf 0

now save and close tech1.tt..

(now for earlytech.tt,demotech.tt you can repeat the above steps for tech1.tt in these files
as well.)

now navigate to your sprites folder and add the following to the file weapon.spr at: 

@reference=256 
@tmaterial=additive 

just below the borggate entry:

# Transphasic Torp
atranstorp	 atpt		0	0	64	64	@anim=tex4x4

now save weapon.spr file and close..


ok now on to gui_global.spr in the same folder..

navigate to 

# Borg build buttons
@reference=128

at the last borg ship build entry and add the following:

b_ATC001                        gbcubearmor1    0       0       64      64
ATC001w1                      ATC001w           0       0       64      64
ATC001w2                      ATC001w           0       0       64      64
ATC001w3                      ATC001w           0       0       64      64

ok navigate down to the special weapons section at:

# Special weapon buttons
@reference=64

@tmaterial=interface

move to the last special weapons entry and add the following:

b_atranstorp            atranstorp              0       0       64      64
b_armor                       armor1            0       0       64      64
b_armorre                     armor2            0       0       64      64

now save and close gui_global.spr

now naviagte to your ODF\STATIONS folder and open byard.odf and add the following line to
the ship construction section:

buildItemXX = "ATC001"  "XX" represents the number of the ship in the build order.. 
ie: buildItem03 = "ATC001"

save and close byard.odf


ok now all that's left is to copy all relevant ODF/SOD/TGA files to their respective folders
and start the game.You will find them in proper folder layout order just copy them to the
folders as they are in the download..ie if armor.odf is in ODF/SPECIAL WEAPONS folder then move
it to that same folder in your game..


I hope this doesnt seem to dificult,but I think its well worth it.

P.S. I just made it build from borg yard 1 to see if it would build in the AI during single
player mode and so you could get it quickly in freetech mode in instant action.To get all it's
weapons as it builds now,just complete the technology tree by researching.Or you can edit this
package and make it only give the ship after research is completed.

Also of note is that I used several stock textures along with some freaky photoshop tricks
to achieve the texture set included here.Some romulan textures and base borg.
