It's with equally great pride that I present to you a corrected BC-304 cruiser, from Stargate SG-1, now with weapons!
There are a number of changes in this model. Firstly, the poly count has been further reduced to 2532. Previously reported mesh problems have also been solved. Furthermore, this version comes with a whole new set of textures, far more detailed than before. They look just as good as on the show, although they look better in darker maps. While they also have no speculars, but nonetheless, they are more accurate than previous textures.
But aside from the model, new weapons (thanks to Ragnar) give a more authentically SG-1 performance to this ship. Missiles and railguns alike are now this vessel's armaments, just like you'd expected. peanutbutter points out that "I have made the missile contrails blue, otherwise, it is difficult to distinguish raigun fire from the missiles, and like i had mentioned in the last readme, i am a lazy guy, and can't be bothered to go through the sprites tutorial." Either way, they look pretty good to me. There's also a speed boost special weapon, with its speed decreased to avoid going in constant circles. It'll only turn the crew into chunky salsa that way. wink
This one's a must-have for SG-1 fans out there. I know you're many, and so I'd hope will be the number of downloads for this awesome looking model.

Additionally, i have also added a few extra details to the model. And the previously mentioned mesh problems have also been solved. Furthermore, this version comes with a whole new set of textures. They are not as fancy as i had hoped them to be (look better in darker maps, and ugly in lighter ones) because i have no way of adding speculars, but nonetheless, they are more accurate then the textures on the previous version of the ship. Thanks to Ragnar, she is now armed with missiles, so all credit pertaining to the missile weapon goes him. I have made the missile contrails blue,otherwise, it is difficult to distinguish raigun fire from the missiles, and like i had mentioned in the last readme, i am a lazy guy, and can't be bothered to go through the sprites tutorial. She also retains the speed boost function, but i have decreased its speed considerably (otherwise, it keeps going in circles). For Installation, extract all files in the Armada directory. Insert, BC304.odf 0 in Tech1.tt and Fulltech.tt Insert, mthrust.odf 0 in Tech1.tt, in the federation special weapons section. Insert, ttorp1.odf 0 in Tech1.tt and Fulltech.tt Insert, buildItemXX = "BC304" in the station of your choice, replace XX with the correct build number. permission is required before using her in any mod.
