I really like this weapon! A special antimatter mine for the Dominion - definitely something that will add to the quality of the Dominion in the game. And the Dominion can always use a new weapon to make their chances for victory higher; afterall, Victory is Life!
Greetings all ST:Arm II gamers! It's been awhile since I had submitted something of a mod for the Dominion, considering they are just as GREAT as now, but I just thought of giving it alittle something to add to it again. It's not much, but I like it still. It's a Dominion version of the 'AnitMatter Mines' weapon like the Federation. The mine is different in design and it does move abit faster/longer range to its' target. I hope you like the little, but effective weapon. Again Thanks for your continous interest my mods and always remember from the Dominion - "VICTORY is LIFE!" Installation instructions: C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II 1) Place any .SOD files into the SOD directory. 2) Place any .tga files into the Textures\RGB directory. 3) Place the domAmine.odf and dominionMine.odf files into the odf\special weapons directory. In the 'techtree' file(tech1.tt & earlytech.tt), open and add this to the special weapons list: dominionMine.odf 0 // dominion space mines Open your gui_global.spr file and add this to the build button list: b_dominionMine gbbdomAutoMine 0 0 64 64 Open any Dominion ship odf file and add it to the weapons' list like this: // Auto Mine weapon# = "dominionMine" weaponHardpoints# = "XXXX" (Where any # is the next weapons list and any 'X's are the next available HP for that ship) And that should be it. Restart your game and ENJOY the Battles! Well, I hope this will make your gaming more FUN!
