File Description

Introducing the Early TOS Bird of Prey from Dogs of War.

The model itself is build created from a port of the Bridge Commander Bird of Prey. The model itself is very good. The textures would certainly fit the bill as early TOS Klingon textures but the vessel's appearance doesn't look like a Klingon vessel of this era. Why? because it has almost the same shape and size as the B'rel class, thus I wouldn't describe it as an early TOS Bop from it's overall appearance . However it is part of DoW and maybe there is a reason why it appears like a B'rel.

Negating the early TOS era, this vessel does look cool and the stealthly armour-type textures do give this ship an "edge" when you play with it in game. It is a bit different from your normal run of the mill Klingon vessel and is definately worth trying out. ;)

This is the Early TOS Bird of Prey for my upcoming mod Dogs of War. This is a kitbash of the bre'l bop found in Bridge Commander. I have disasembeled the original model and rebuilt it, as well as applying new textures .

NOTE: The .odf is for my mod and may require editing on YOUR part to be suitable in your own personal game as build costs may be a bit excessive for a vanilla copy of armada 2. This contains no wireframe pic, admirals log pic, buildbutons or borg textures.

Original Model - Activision

Original Kitbash - K7A
New Texture with alpha map - K7A

Directions - Put the files in their respective folders. To get this ingame you need to make it buildable in a shipyard or put it in your map editor.

Lastly, I ask that you refrain from releasing this model and texture in any of your own mods. Bottom line: YOU NEED PERMISSION TO USE THIS IN YOUR MODS.

Thank You.
