Federation Headquarters Base Clean Install: Just copy the files to there folders: all .tga files into your \textures\rgb folder the sod file into \sod folder fbasehq.odf into \odf folder gui_global into \sprites folder full tech and tech1 into \techtree folder Modded game install: copy the following files to there folders: all .tga files into your \textures\rgb folder the sod file into \sod folder fbasehq.odf into \odf folder open gui_global.spr of \sprites folder and search for this line: # Federation build buttons now got to @reference=64 and add following line b_fbasehq gbfbase 0 0 64 64 then search for this line: # Ship Wireframes @reference=128 @tmaterial=interface and add the following lines: fbasehqw1 fedwireframe05 0 48 48 48 fbasehqw2 fedwireframe05 48 48 48 48 fbasehqw3 fedwireframe05 96 48 48 48 fbasehqw4 fedwireframe05 144 48 48 48 fbasehqw5 fedwireframe05 192 48 48 48 Then open your tech1.tt from \techtree folder and add the following: fbasehq.odf 0 // Fed Operations starbase Now open your fulltech.tt folder and add this line: fbasehq.odf 0 Now open fconst.odf from \odf\ships folder and add this line: builditemXX = "fbasehq" replace XX with a number which is not yet used...
