Well here we have a simple but effective retexture mod from Jetfreak based on Scotchy's Galaxy textures. The textures are good. Far better than the stock Nebula and Galaxy. They remind me of the Legacy Galaxy textures which are the same shade of grey. They certainly do improve the stock models appeal greatly. The mod also includes Borg textures and an extra texture to suit Epytron Omega's nebula variants.
A solid piece of retexturing. Nice work!
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Stock Galaxy and Nebula class Retexture - Hey guys, this is a retexture of the stock Galaxy and Nebula class. The old textures have now been replaced with Scotchy's textures. - As an added bonus, I have added an extra texture (Filename: fspeicalpod1.tga) for those using Epytron Omega's nebbie variants. This retexture is fully compatible with the said mod. - Borg Textures are included - I have also made new Admiral's Log pics to match with the new textures. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Credits: Textures: From Scotchy's SNS Galaxy and the CR Nebula Pack Dan1025: He added an alpha channel to the textures +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Galaxy Class Brief History: Introduced: 2363 Ship type: Explorer Length: 641m. It is the largest and most complex Starfleet starship built to date. The Galaxy class is primarily designed to replace the aged Ambassador and Oberth classes in research missions. Galaxy-class starships feature a detachable and independently operational saucer section, three shuttlebays and a captain's yacht at the bottom of the saucer. The ship class has proven herself in the battlefield and is still being produced in many Federation shipyards. The saucer hulls and the warp nacelles of the two classes are substantially identical. The Nebula class has a more compact arrangement of the hull components. Its interchangable pod has made the class quite versatile and has spawned several variants.
