These ships are ports of the Hydran Ships seen in Star Trek: StarFleet Command 2, and Challenger did a very good job converting them. He also did 1 from scratch, and he did it so good you can't tell which it is when looking at all of them :D

Mod name: Hydran ship pack
Version: 1.0A2 - A2 only

4 models, designs all from Starfleet Command II, 3 of them directly converted
and remapped from there, one scratch built.

Hydran Monarch dreadnought, Overlord Battleship, Sarazen destroyer and
Regent light cruiser.

Installation:

put any .SOD file into the A2 Sod directory.
put any .TGA file into the A2 Textures\Rgb directory
put any .WAV file into the A2 sounds\effects directory

put the hbat.odf, hca.odf, hdd.odf and hlc.odf into the odf\ships directory
put the:

odf\weapons\phaser
hbb_fusion.odf
hbb_fusiono.odf
hbb_gatph.odf
hbb_gatpho.odf
hca_fusion.odf
hca_fusiono.odf

odf\weapons\pulse
hbb_hellbore.odf
hbb_hellboreo.odf
hbb_photcan.odf
hbb_photcano.odf
hca_hellbore.odf
hca_hellboreo.odf
hca_photcan.odf
hca_photcano.odf
hdd_photcan.odf

now some editing.
open the shipyard of your desire (in this example, fyard2.odf, the Federation Advanced shipyard)
and add the following lines:

buildItemX= "hbb"
buildItemX+1="hca"
buildItemX+2="hdd"
buildItemX+3="hlc"

where X is the next free number in the buildItem list of this shipyard.
now open the tech1.tt file, located in the techtree directory and add following lines:
hbb.odf 0
hca.odf 0
hdd.odf 0
hlc.odf 0
this enables the ships with no prerequisites.

now open the gui_global.spr and add the following lines (you can simply paste them into the file)
search for the entry @reference=128 in the build buttons area and add these lines.

b_hca				gbhydr		0	0	64	64	
b_hdd				gbhydr		64	0	64	64	
b_hlc				gbhydr		0	64	64	64	
b_hbat				gbhydr		64	64	64	64	

now search for the wireframes section, @reference=256 and paste the following lines:

save the file.
now open the weapon.spr file and add following lines:
(somewere invetween the normal phasers entry, search for entry fphaser in the file)

# Hellbore

now the ships should be added to the game properly.

For uninstallation undo the above steps.

Credits:
Challenger - scratch built Monarch class.
Taldren - original designs of the Hydran ships. The Regent, Sarazen and Overlord were converted
from Starfleet Command II and reskinned by Challenger.

mesh files. I request that you refuse from using this program on my meshes, except
i have given permission (so contact me in this case)
