The Kulinor class starship is a unique design in the Armada universe. Not because of any aspect of its being Cardassian or even because it has more wings and fins..... no. The Kulinor is awesome because of the Big Friggin' Gun mounted on the ventral side (underneath) of the vessel. This gun, of course, has a purpose in the game, as it's used to incinerate the populace of planets and draw through Species 8472 battleships as cannon fodder.

Dan1025 has continued his work on the Cardassian stock remodelling he's been up to later, and this one is pleasantly well done, everything you'd want in a Kulinor, and then some. New build button, wireframe, and Admirals Log pic included, plus the usual awesome textures --of both Cardassian and Borg sorts. My only complaint is.... well.... the gun. Is it smaller on this version, or is it just me?

Continuing my line of replacement Cardassian ships I present the new Kulinor Class, made by kitbashing Zorgs Galor Class. The model has 4 textures and a poly count of 922.

This will act as a replacement for your Kulinor Class (cspecial).

Included in this mod are:

SOD file
Ship textures
Borg textures
Ship ODF
AdmiralsLog picture
Buildbutton
Wireframe

Installation Instructions:

1. Place "cspecial.sod" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/SOD folder.
2. Place all files found in the RGB folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/Textures/RGB folder.
3. Place "cspecial.odf" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/odf/ships folder.
4. Place the "cspecial.bmp" file found in the ShipImages folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/bitmaps/AdmiralsLog/ShipImages folder.

(Ensuring you click "Yes" when the computer asks if you'd like to replace the older files).

5. Find the file named "gui_global.spr" found in the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/Sprites folder and open it (use notepad).

Search for where it says:

"Cardassian Wireframes"

and delete the entry for cspecial

now find where it says:

"@reference=64"

(if "@reference=64" isn't in your Cardassian Wireframes section you'll need to add it at the end of the section).

and add:

cspecialw1			WFcspecial	0	0	64	64
cspecialw2			WFcspecial	0	0	64	64
cspecialw3			WFcspecial	0	0	64	64
cspecialw4			WFcspecial	0	0	64	64
cspecialw5			WFcspecial	0	0	64	64

Save and close the file.
