In the year 2399, the USS Opaka was sent on a mission to infiltrate
 and help destroy the religious movement known as the Bajoran 
Accendancy.  It's captain, Thomas Riker, choose to 'join' the 
Accendant Starfleet.  In the last days of that year, it was sent 
on a mission to retrive the USS Defient, which had reappeared after
 being lost for 25 years.

If  this makes no sense to you, read the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
 Millenium trilogy by Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens.  I assure you,
 you won't regret it, it is one of the best Trek mini-series of books
ever written.

Please feel free to use this ship in your mods.  I have 
included an odf for the ship, as well as some basic weapons.  To 
install the weapons, just put the odfs marked opphas and opphaso
 in the weapons/phaser folder, and opphot and opphoto in the
weapons/photons folder.  You'll also need to add in the right lines 
in the techtree and gui_global to make the ship buildable, and add
it to a shipyard (like fyard2), but I'll leave it up to you to figure 
out how to do that.
