File Description

This is the Star Wars cruiser featured in Knights Of The old Republic, named due to the hammerhead style of the ship. I don't recall hearing the class name mentioned in either KOTR or its sequal, "KOTR II The Sith Lords" but it is aptly named.

KOTR was set around four thousand years before the Star Wars films, so this ship should probably be a little weaker than that Imperial Class Star Destroyer :)

This ship class served, at a minimum during the Mandolorian invasion, and again during the "Jedi civil war" (or more accurately the Republic & Jedi vs Sith war) It was still in use some years afterwards, when a fleet managed to hold off the Jedi vessel Ravenger that was salvaged from the orbit of Malachor V by a sith Lord. While the Hammerheads were unable to damage the Ravanger they did buy enough time for the famous Jedi "Player" to board and lay several proton bombs that destroyed the ship.

INSTALLATION (Remember Make Backup of files, esspecially the 'Weapon' file)

1. Copy the folders into the Armada 2 folder except for HP Maps

2. Open your gui_global.spr in the misc folder and scroll down to where is says
	
	# Federation build buttons
	@reference=128
	@tmaterial=default

copy this line right below the @tmaterial=default line
	
	b_rephammer		gbrephammer	0	0	64	64

3. Then scroll down to # Federation reference wireframes under the lines:
	@reference=128
	@tmaterial=interface

now add

	rephammerw1			wfrephammer	0	0	128	128


4. Open tech1.tt and fulltech.tt in the techtrees folder and add to each file
	
	rephammer.odf      0

5. Next open a shipyard file and add

	buildItemX = "rephammer"
where X is the next available number

6. Open the Weapon file in Sprites folder under(Unless You Have SWFC installed, In Which, This Step Is Unnecessary)
	@reference=128
	@tmaterial=additive:

add


	# Empire Laser
	elaser 		wlaser		0	32	128	32



7. Once All This Is Done Enjoy Your Hammerhead
