Introduction/Brief Description:

'K, if you downloaded the 1.2 patch for Rescaled Ships & Stations- The Authentic Trek mod, and you played with the Klingons, you might have noticed that the Negh'Var class battleship took a HELL of a long time to build. I noticed it, though why I didn't see it when I tested it I dunno. Anyway, for those of you who don't feel comfortable going into the .odf files, or don't know how, or both, then I've quickly zipped this up and sent it to armada2files.com. Its just the Negh'Var class ship with its building time reduced. No other changes. I don't need to say that its best you have the full mod with all its upgrades for this to have full effect, even though it will function alone (it'll make the Negh'Var powerful enough to win on its own without the mod :S). If you actually liked my mod, and that error spoilt your gaming, I'm sorry. I guess next time I mod I should take a little more care focusing on the little things as well as making sure it works at all.
(For the record, it was just one typo; I set the build time for 70 seconds, but seemingly pushed 0 twice... it then became nearly about 11 minutes!!)

Installation Instructions:

'K, this is just one .odf. You should have the last version of this if your downloading a fix for it, so you shouldn't need to back-up anything. There is one file in the zip besides the readme; copy that, and paste it into the following directory, clicking 'yes' on any notices that come up:
C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\odf\ships
If you changed the directory at all, just find the odf\ships folder. 


To use the mod:

Once you've copied and overwritten the relevant file/s successfully, the mod will just work... simple. Start up your game, and the ships will be updated when you enter a Quick Battle or Single Player game (still haven't tested Multiplayer yet).


Testbed:

This mod was made and successfully tested on the following system spec:

It worked fine with no real slowdown at 1024x768 32bit resolution, though I haven't arranged the new functions of the ships in the way I would have liked... nothing major, really, just makes things more tidy. Perhaps I'll do that in another update.

Ship Backgrounds/New Stats:

No changes but lowering the build time of the Negh'Var from 700 seconds to 70 seconds.

Negh'Var Class Klingon Vessel:
At 682.32 metres long, the Klingon Negh'Var class warship is currently the largest vessel fielded in the Klingon Imperial Defense Fleet. Armed with 20 ship-mounted disrupters, one large forward disrupter, and four 'elth'a' class torpedo launchers, it is also surely the most powerful. Capable of warp 9.6, it has a mass of 4,310,000 metric tonnes. The flagship, the IKS Negh'Var, was commanded by General Martok, and was first seen by Starfleet during the incident with Deep Space 9 and the theorised Founders take-over of Cardassia (The Way of the Warrior, DS9)
