This is the Armada 2 version of the Armada 1 mod released recently that sports Achilles' textures and model. This clean-cut version, although not strictly the same design as that which was in the stock game, it fits in exactly the same place and does look incredibly similar (although between the two, I'd be safer in this one). The contents include an admiral's pic, build button and some new pulse textures (which look very nice) but peculiarly, no wire-frame, but not to worry as you can simply use the stock one which will fit with this mod perfectly.
The big thing about this mod though has to be the weapons load-out, which although won't change initial damage too much, will change it to look a lot more like the Defiant firing. Add to that the save-fire added which makes the pulses fire off in larger salvo's, a group of these on first sight of a battleship could take it down rapidly, at least more so than before. In such a case, perhaps this fits in better with a Tal-Shiar division, possibly suggested by the pics. Anyhow, this is a fantastic looking ship and definitely worthy to any Romulan fan.
