And here's another bird into the fray. This TMP-based design really works off the bird-like elements that we've come to love of the Romulans. Its green hull and orange bird underneath do stand out and while perhaps I would prefer a darker hull for the bit more of the sly and dark Romulans, it's a very nice texture with plenty of details to which the (high poly) model is certainly befitting. Hey, it even comes with a shiny build button, admiral's pic and wireframe!
It fits into your early Romulan ships before your first research. She's packed full of weapons, but do not expect her to last for long. Perhaps being a remnant of the TMP era has decreased its durability? Regardless, she'll be good for hunting packs, to cloak, run over to a small installation, decloak and blind the enemies, unload a salvo or two on the intended target and cloak away and retreat. She won't last in sustained combat either and her building resources certainly balance out the large amount of power. What you can count on this ship for would be a heavy scout patrol early on before the higher cruisers and battleships come out.
All in all, a very nice and balanced craft that looks the part and fights it. Certainly a recommendable download for Romulan spy's.
