Interesting concept from 1_Beta_1, which sadly comes without a screenshot. (I'd imagine using a screenshot of a stock larva would be sufficient....)

With in this pack of ships there are two active embryos one has a holographic generator that works like the incursion classes and another that works like the Romulan holographic generator. Beyond that is completely useless. (Although its pretty). The another embryo evolves into 1 ship from each of the other 4 races *minus borg* all armed with 2 species 8472 weapons, but as well as a technology assimilator. I intend to had much more with in my skill in the 1.1 release.

The beginning of a new concept, and the promise of better. We couldn't ask for more.

Worth a download if you still play with 8472.

Readme
I felt that there was wasnt enough 8472 ships out there, so like any good person instead of complaining i went and made some this is version 1.0 as it currently uses mostly stock textures and all stock models. I also intend to add a station or to as well in the 1.1 release.

By 1_Beta_1

Installation

Place all the .sods in the SOD folder.

Place 8472_spyconvertor.odf/8472_spydrone.odf/8472_carbattle.odf/8472_rombattle.odf/8472_klindestroy.odf/8472_fedspecial.odf
in odf/Ships folder.

Place g8472_holo.odf/g8472_holoemt.odf/g8472_techassimbeam.odf/8472TechAssimBeam.odf  in to odf/special weapons

Put all the textures in textures/RGB.

Now open up the station you want to add it to I suggest the fluidic gate.
But you can build it from the mother if you want.

buildItemXX = "8472_spyconvertor"
buildItemXX = "8472_spydrone"

Now open op tech.tt

and add

8472_spydrone.odf   0
8472_spyconvertor.odf  0
8472_carbattle.odf         0
8472_fedspecial.odf     0
8472_klindestroy.odf   0
8472_rombattle            0

Under the last 8472 ship

and add

g8472_holo.odf  0
g8472_holoemt.odf  0
g8472_techassimbeam.odf  0


under the last 8472 special weapon

Do the same in fulltech.tt

Now open gui_gobal.spr

under species 8472 build buttons add
