hi there Pokerchip here again with my new improved BERLIN (SP) map mod
As before-this is a SP map only and has been tested only on version 1.2 ,I naturally can't guarantee that this will work with version 1.3 or 1.31 :) but it should I guess,
here's a list of new changes....
..new scenery and more SFX ...new player sniping positions on two buildings,complete with ammobox's ..more equipment this time
Axis Forces----2 Panzer IV Ausf H's (Dacrapper's Tank Mod required) 2 Tigers 1 APC and 2 Pak 40 ATgun (RTR required) for base anti-tank defense
Soviet Forces---3 T-34-85's + if they capture the Primary Axis base and additional 2 T34's 1 AT25 Anti-Tank gun (RTR required)
..new thumbnail for the SP menu ..modified AI strategies for more agressive tactics by both sides ...2 new MG42 positions ...Different soldier spawn positions for both sides ...a new medibox location for some quick medical attention(RTR) ...2 new ground textures
again a big thanks to MAD BULL for the Heightmap Editor v1.11, without which this mod would have taken many weeks to achieve...
to install.. use WINrar to unpack the archive and copy/paste the Berlin.rfa into a vacant bf1942 mod LEVELS folder,if there is'nt one create it and deposit the rfa in there. then edit the mod's INIT.con to include the RTR expansion pack..like this game.setCustomGameName (mods name) game.addModPath Mods/(mods name)/ game.addModPath Mods/BF1942/MC1942_Bloodfx/ << this is good ,but its not required game.addModPath Mods/MC1942_TexSet/ << keep this game.addModPath Mods/MegaTank_Mod/ <<need this (Dacrapper's Tank Mod --for the PanzerIVH) game.addModPath Mods/XPack1/ <<<need this too game.addModPath Mods/BF1942/ game.customGameFlushArchives 0 (the rest as per normal) I think thats it now..fight the good fight and never surrender pokerchip
