C: Using the Artillery F--------------------------------------------------------------------W Artiller Officer's packages can be found e.g. from some houses in some maps, and here's how you use them: You could probably compare artillery firing to throwing grenades with the right mousebutton. The longer you push the right mousebutton (or alternate fire), the higher the bar will rise in the right corner and the further away the grenade/artillery will strike from you. Artillery will fire at the direction you're looking at. Preffered you look forward if you look too up or too down the artillery might fire behind you or somewhere else where you did´nt mean it to fire. F--------------------------------------------------------------------W 2. D: Vehicles and properties F--------------------------------------------------------------------W ot-130 flamethrower tank [ot-130] -2 seats: driver(number 1) and flamer(number 2) T-26 m31 light machinegun tank [t26m31] -3 seats: driver(1), two machinegunners(2-3) T-26 M33 light tank [t26m33] -2 seats: driver(1) and gunner(2) t-26 m37 light tank [t26m37] -2 seats: driver(1) and gunner(2) t-28 medium tank [t28] -4 seats: driver(1), gunner(2), machinegunners(3-4) t-38 amphibious tank with machinegun/rapid-fire rifle [t-38] -2 seats: driver(1) and machinegunner(2) Zis5 truck (functioning as a resupply truck, ammo etc.) -6 seats: driver(1), passengers(2-6) FAI armored car -2 seats: driver(1), gunner(2) Snowmobile -2 seats: driver(1) machinegunner(not yet)(2) vickers light tank [vickers] -3 seats: driver(1), gunner(2) and machinegunner(3) Renault light tank [renaultft] -2 seats: driver(1) and gunner(2) Skis -1 seat "Driver(1)" Boat -2 seats driver(1) passenger(2) passenger can "bail out" and he spawns in the boat("more places"). Gloster Gladiator plane (not in our maps but it is in the mod) -1 place pilot(1) and maybe few other vehicles. F--------------------------------------------------------------------W 2. E: Steering the tank F--------------------------------------------------------------------W The tank is steered with 4 buttons. The keys which steer the left track are "W" (forward) and "S" (reverse) [WASD] The keys which steer the right track are "UP" (forward) and "DOWN" (reverse) [arrowkeys] You can of course change the keys to whatever you prefer. Steering tips When you apply both 'forward' keys simultaneously the tank moves forward and same applies to reversing. When turning the tank you should apply opposite keys (e.g. "W" [left forward] and "down-arrow" [right reverse]) this gives you the best possible turning speed. With some practising you should be able to handle your tank like air. F--------------------------------------------------------------------W 2. F: Stationary weapons F--------------------------------------------------------------------W Maxim machinegun [maxim] Mortar [mortar] -artillery The 20 mm L-39 Anti-tank rifle [l-39] -anti-tank weapon The 37 PstK/36 [Bofors] -anti-tank weapon F--------------------------------------------------------------------W 3. Important notes F--------------------------------------------------------------------W T-38 is amphibious tank. It can be steered with W,A,S,D in the water and w+arrow up in dry ground(look 2. E: Steering the tank). FinnWars Single player is not included. Tank steering isn't same as in normal Battlefield 1942. Look 2. E: Steering the tank. Tanks do not take damage from grenades. You can't take enemy tanks. Conrol points may need more than one player to capture. Look the sign attached to the flagpole.
