This skin is a very nice replacement for the Messerschmitt BF109. I included a screenshot to show what you got yourself into.

I appreciate it that you have downloaded my first really good skin and hope you enjoy this nice cosmetic change ;)

TOOLS NEEDED ------------------- Moseley's RFA Extractor v1.1 (http://www.bf1942files.com/file.info?ID=5888) GMake RFA (not sure of author) (http://www.fileplanet.com/download.aspx?f=119167)

INSTALLATION -------------------- If you have a folder with all the textures in it (and the game runs off of that) Just stick bf109_01_H.dds into that folder and replace the old one -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

If you like to make RFAs with the GMakeRFA (not sure who created it, but great program) -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Be sure you have extracted texture.rfa (use Moseley's RFA Extractor v1.1) somewhere (usually I put my extracted texture.rfa on desktop as texture) Stick the BF-109 skin into your output folder (where you extracted your texture.rfa) Now, make your output RFA saved as texture.rfa on your desktop (make you base RFA folder texture) Press the create button and it will make the rfa for you (usually takes about 2-5 mins) Go to your BF42 archives folder (usually C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\mods\bf42\archives) look for texture.rfa and rename it to texture.old or oldtexture.rfa or even oldtexture.old Go back to your desktop and drag the new texture.rfa to the bf42 archives folder and it should be done :)

OTHER -------------------- I would like to thank those who downloaded this and those who appreciated my work A big thanks to Mosely, the guy who made GMake RFA, and the BF42 Modding community Another big thanks for BF1943files for making this downloadable and available to the public But my BIGGEST thanks goes to DICE Interactive for making this extremely awesome game and making an easy skinning interface for us skinners to use

Happy Skinning!!
