The Americans after a month of battle for a Japanese island have finally completed and established their base. Naval support for both sides has disappeared, and now its left to the air and ground.
I really do not have many good things to say about this map. The texturing is poor, no shadow generation, mini-map needs a lot of work and the terrain looks unrealistic (needs smoothing). I am disappointed especially because it looks like some time and effort was put into object placement (with the exception of at least one fence I saw that was not in the ground). It looks rushed. Back to the drawing board. Next time I would suggest taking a good look at the EA maps and identify what makes them enjoyable. Then try to incorporate that into the map you are making. Effort is very important, but take your time otherwise you are simply wasting it. Making maps was extremely difficult and time consuming prior to the release of Battlecraft. Now that so many maps are coming out the standards continue to go up everyday. Keep that in mind when you're working on your project. If you want people to play your map, you're going to have to do something new and intresting.
