Madbull tells me that this is a file that is required to use his Map Editor. Consult the Readme for full Techie details.
mdxRedist - Created by Microsoft Packaged by MadBull for BF1942 Map Editor v1.2 =============================================== What is Managed DirectX? =============================================== This program, which is created by Microsoft, allows .NET applications to use DirectX features. It comes with the standard DX9 installer, however, most people reported to me that they were unable to get it to work without also installing this file *AFTER* both DX9 and .NET were installed. So, here it is... =============================================== What do I do to install? =============================================== It's a fairly simple install: 1) MAKE SURE you have .NET Framework installed 2) MAKE SURE you have DirectX 9 installed. 3) Double check that you have .NET and DX9 installed... This program will not install if you do not. 4) Unzip the mdxRedist.zip file 5) Run the mdxRedist.msi file (its an installer) 6) Restart your computer 7) All done! When you run the mdxRedist.msi file, it may seem like it does nothing (since it does not prompt you), however I can safely say that it has done something.
