I've been using this one for the last day or so and it just plain looks great flying through the air, diving in for the kill, or taxiing to a stop on the runway. Even the belly of the plane is done well, which is often the most overlooked or neglected area in skinning. In fact, it's probably my favorite part (aside from the tail of course :naughty: ). Makes being bombed almost a pleasure. :p
================ Midnight Corsair ================ Yup, another new plane skin. Corsair's a great fighter, and my second favorite of all the Allied fighters. Kinda went for more of a historical look with this one, and as usual did a little customizing. This skin can be used in SP or MP, and will modify the Corsair only. I hope you all enjoy. ================= Zip File Contents ================= 1. This readme 2. f4u1_main_I.dds (actual editted file) 3. f4u1_windows_I.dds (actual editted file) 5. Corsair_Prop_Blur_O.dds (actual editted file) 6. nightcors_small.jpg (a compiled group of ingame shots) 7. RFA Extractor (you *need* this to use the skin) ============= Installation ============= 1. Use RFA Extractor to extract all of the files in the texture.rfa located in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Archives to the main directory C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942. You should now have a textures folder in that directory!!. You now can delete the texture.rfa located in the Archives folder without any harm to your game. (Backup a copy of texture.rfa just to be safe) 2. Take all of the .dds files located in this zip and put them into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\texture directory and replace the ones that are currently there. 3.
