I read a post on the DC Forums about adding more aircraft to the Nimiz aircraft carrier, so I thought I'd have a go. I already had the 'Nimitz Heli' half started a while ago so I thought I'd finish that off and edit the 'Nimitz' so it was pretty full, basically as full as possible within the realm of the DC coding and with some space left on the deck to land the planes. It is possible to take off everything on the flight deck, if done in the right order. The aircraft in the hangar deck are just for show but it may be possible to take off in the MH6 helicopters.

so I thought I'd have a go. I already had the 'Nimitz Heli' half started a while ago so I

Added more aircraft - (Quantity)

Flight Deck:
-MH53 (2)
-UH-60 (4)
-AH-6 (1)
-MH-6 (1)
-AV8-A (4)
-AV8-B (2)
-F-14B (8)
-Forklift (3)

Hangar Deck:
AV8-A (3) [2 not really useable]
MH-6 (2) [If you're a good pilot!]
Forklift (2)

Changed hitpoints to 1200


*** Nimitz Heli ***

Removed all fixed wing aircraft

Flight Deck:
-MH53 (2)
-UH-60 (2)

Changed hitpoints to 1200
Added new spawn point/group


*** MH-53 ***

Removed soldier spawn
a) To add interest to gameplay
b) To avoid complications of having more than 1 in a map

Installation Instructions:
1. Extract your map to a suitable location. Add the 'Objects' folder to the base 
directory of your map. Open 'init.con' and add the line "run Objects/Objects". Make sure
that you have an object spawn that spawns either 'Nimitz' or 'Nimitz_Heli'. 
Repack your map.

2. Extract the Objects folder to a suitable location. Open your map in Battlecraft. 
Click Tools>Add File to Archive. Click 'Add', Navigate to the Objects folder and select 
all files. Destination should be 'bf1942\levels\YOUR_MAP_NAME'. Click Tools>Archive File 
Editor, navigate to 'init.con' and add the line "run Objects/Objects".

3. Extract objects_009.rfa to either Battlefield 1942\Mods\DC_Final\Archives or 
Battlefield 1942\Mods\DesertCombat\Archives, depending which mod you are playing.
Play a map that contains 'Nimitz' or 'Nimitz_Heli' or edit a map that spawns one


Note: if you are manually putting the objects in your map then you should also use 
'H-53' to avoid complications of soldier spawns


** Known Issues **

-After a period of time the map crashes with 'Nimitz' in co-op
-Bots walk off the end of the carrier (Although it was probably like that anyway. 
Didn't touch the AI)
-If any additional lag problems occur try removing the aircraft from the hangar deck (located 
in code under "rem ************* Lower Hangar Deck ************")
