File Description: - P-51D Mustang, a replica of 44-13926, flown by 1st Lt. Urban Drew during WWII
- This aircraft was decorated as a replica of one of Lt. Drew's mounts, originally camoflaged with olive drab paint in anticipation of being deployed to a forward field in France after D-Day. The new paint job, "Slo-Mo-Shun", by Brian Reynolds was applied in a sky blue hue in 1999.
- For pictures of both the replica and original plane: http://www.olympicflightmuseum.com/aircraft_gallery/p51d_mustang.htm - For a drawing of the original aircraft: http://eaw.free.fr/JEFF/US.htm
Changes: - Due to a nasty litle mirror effect on the tail, I had to omit the numbering, which would have originally been 413926 - Also due to the mirror effect, I had to change the paint pattern in the tail to a solid blue, instead of the original cloud pattern
Installation: - If you are not using the Merciless Creations Texture Pack, you will have to extract your texture.rfa file and manually include the .dds files in this release. If you are using MC, simply copy these .dds files to the Map folder you wish to use this plane in.
