File Description
I made this map using Battlecraft map editor, RFA extractor and MakeRFA. This map is about the allied 101st airborne division paradrops in normandy during DDay, at the small French town called St Mere Eglise. During DDay there was a lot of confusion about the paradrops wich were scattered all over the place because of missdrops. Some of the paradrops died before they even hit the ground. I tried to simulate that feeling in this map and made some spawnpoints (missdrops) right above the axis.

Map info:
I made this map using Battlecraft map editor, RFA extractor and MakeRFA.
This map is about the allied 101st airborne division paradrops in normandy during DDay, at the small French town called St Mere Eglise.
During DDay there was a lot of confusion about the paradrops wich were scattered all over the place because of missdrops.
Some of the paradrops died before they even hit the ground. I tried to simulate that feeling in this map and made some spawnpoints (missdrops) right above the axis.

This map features:
This map has 3 capturable controlpoints wich will start in the hands of the axis. When the allied capture one base, the ticket bleeding will stop.
When the allied capture all two controlpoints in St Mere Eglise, the axis will start bleeding (with only the Fouville spawnpoint left)! So it's a bit of a new conquest type.
There were (probably) no tanks in St Mere Eglise when the allied attacked (no one wanted to wake Hitler up, to ask if they could send a tankdivision over),
but I made some tankspawns to make the map more interesting (although the tanks have a long spawndelay, so dont waste them!!).
This map only supports conquest mode, to make the map not so big for downloading (the other game types get played very rarely anyway).
This map also features a nightsky (they should make that EASIER, it took me more time figuring out how to get a nightsky, then making the map itself), a custom loading screen a thumbnail pic and a few new (well not entirely) objects.

Installation:
Extract the St_Mere_Eglise.rfa file to your:
(default)...EAgames/Battlefield1942/Mods/bf1942/archives/bf1942/levels folder.

Uninstall:
Delete the St_Mere_Eglise.rfa file from your levels folder (where you extracted it to).

Pics:
The comparison pic, compares a pic of the map in battlecraft with a pic of the real St Mere.
The map pic is what I mainly based the level on (look at the roads of StMere in the map and you see they have (almost all) the same forms).
The mapbig pic is to show what is around StMere (you can see the Meredeth river to the west, Neuville to the north and Utah beach to the east (you cant see that one on the map though))
The rest of the pics are just to show what the map features (the mgs pic doesnt show all mgs).
