We at World at War have decided to share some of the maps that we use in our tournament with the rest of the Forgotten Hope Community. This map pack contains five of our favorite maps: Fall of Berlin, Tundra, Battle of Rome, Weserbung, and Russian Country. Many of you may recognize these maps. Well, you should. These are those same great maps that we have edited and converted for use with the Forgotten Hope Mod.
While we have edited these maps for use with the FH mod and work better for our tournament; they are still the work of the original map creators and we at WAW would like to give these mappers a big thank you for giving us these excellent maps that have entertained us for many, many, many hours of hardcore BF/FH battle. Or reason for converting these maps to FH and releasing them to the public is not to take away from their work in any way, but to allow more players to use and enjoy such superb mapping efforts.
These look like awsome maps!

Fall of Berlin (Tank Johann): The Soviets are making the final push into Berlin. The Soviets are using their tried and true tactic of throwing wave after wave of bodies at all resistance and the German defenders are desperate knowing their backs are to the wall. Map includes very intense urban fighting, several non-spawnable control points to fight over with each side getting a mobile APC spawn point. Tundra (AGM Maps): It's cold. Real cold. But that doesn't mean that the Germans are going to postpone their assault on two Soviet possitions. And this area is 100% tank country! With 33 total tanks on this large map including 1 King Tiger, 3 Tigers and 4 IS-2s there will be absolutely no lack of some heavy tank on tank action. And the terrain could not be better for such a battle! Battle of Rome (TuuT): The allies are moving in to push the last of the Axis Forces from Rome. With a combination of both tight urban and open field terrain on this battle field both sides will have to employ good use of combined arms to crush the other side. And the fact that the central flag of the map is a non-spawnable flag ensures a great deal of back and forth, brutal fighting for this vital point. Fighters, tank destroyers, artillery and some areas for great infantry fighting means this one has something for everyone. Weserbung (TA_Radar & KB): Originally, we used this map in Europe as Norway. This campaign though, we moved it to the Pacific for various reasons to represent one of our territories in the North Pacific. The map is still the same, but it is now the Soviets and the Japanese fighting over the Kurilski Islands North of Japan. We keep the original map name though out of respect for the original creators. But it is still a kick butt map that provides non-stop action combined with naval support fire! Russian Country ([SoD]Otolikos): Soviet and German forces are not done with each other yet. This time, they are throwing a full combined arms assault at each other including heavy and light tanks, fighters, fighter-bombers, artillery, and loads of mechanized infantry. Each side has already secured most of the best positions; so no need to race for any flags as the battle starts. But you best dig in before the shells start falling. And the suberb terrain layout will ensure some tight action all around.
