Kitfox has created a singleplayer mod that allow you to control all the weapons and fly at the same time.
This file includes modified tweaks which allow you to have pilot controlled weapons in the different helicopters. These helicopter tweak files are for your own SP mod only. You will not be able to use these multiplayer online. The sp64 mod is a good one for this. They are all very powerful, but the AI fail to use the new weapons, so gameplay is unaffected except when YOU fly them. These are not my ideas alone, they are a compliation from the forums. You can use them or modify them anyway you want. Write these tweak files into your respective helicopter files in the "objects_server.zip". Save the originals somewhere first. Don't touch your vanilla BF2 files. You must be familiar with packing/unpacking files using winrar or winzip. You must have the Armored Fury expansion packs for the small helicopters (WZ11, Littlebird, EC635) in "booster_server.zip" and "booster_client.zip". You must have the Euroforce expansion pack for the Tiger helicopter in map "Operation Smoke Screen". You must have BF2 Special Forces for the Mi35 Hind and AH64 Apache in "objects_client.zip" and "objects_server.zip". AH1Z Cobra: added F35 cannon, sidewinders, maverick Z10: (its really a A129, I don't know why they call it a Z10) added J10 cannon, kedge, archer Mi35 Hind: added Su34 cannon, archer, kedge, fixed gunner seat CTD Littlebird: added Havoc "ubercannon", hydras, helisupply, fixed 2nd seat CTD EC635, WZ11: added hydras, helisupply, fixed 2nd seat CTD Those first are "stand alone" tweaks, and are a good start. These next helicopters require files from others, so you must have those installed also. Otherwise, it will CTD because it can't find them. Mi28 Havoc: added MiG29 cannon, kedge, archer (you must have the Mi35 Hind for this one to work). A64 Apache: added Fantan cannon, sidewinders, maverick (needs Q-5 fantan to work) Tiger: added F35 cannon, sidewinders, maverick (needs AH1Z to work) Use the "change weapon" command to display the proper HUD. [default is "F"]. Good flying, Kitfox comments?: email@example.com
