Some folks amongst the Point Of Existence community cried for night vision equipment to go with the modern theme of the modification. Unfortunatly, the BfV engine lacks proper features (such as dynamic lighting and advanced shader techniques) which could make the implementation of close-to-real simulated night vision visors possible. My mission was to seek for ways to trick the engine into at least giving the player the feeling of wearing image enhancers in a night mission.

Readme
This is a TEST map. Don't expect great gameplay. It's
merely a demonstration of what i could come up with...
feels more like a TDM map.

I played with light colours, detail textures and fog
rendering. Of course for such a map to work, it could only
be a close combat infantry style map, since the view distance
is too short for medium to long ranged battles (eg. tanks).
Modern vehicles use completly different sight and targeting
systems for night operations anyway.

Also for the effect to look perfect, some models would have
to be retextured and brightened/darkened (depending on material).
Light corona effects (like on the phone and light poles) need
to be much bigger, more opaque and brighter) etc...
