Auf der Conquest Map befinden sich 7 Basen, von denen 5 Sttzpunkte einnehmbar sind. Neben dem vielen Wasser, welches Zentral eine groe Rolle in der Map spielt, gibt es noch einen groen Berg, welcher durch 3 Baumfallen gesichert ist. Weiterhin beinhaltet die Map massig Fahrzeuge, Boote und Flugzeuge, mit denen ihr euch heie Gefechte auf Land, im Wasser und in der Luft liefern knnt.
I though I'd found this missing map via two other sites i.e. Fileplanet and GAU-Games.DE a German site that has also hosted Battlefield mods and maps for years. As with Game front, a lot of the files have been removed from the server mainly those that were rarely downloaded.
Sadly, all the copies of this map that I've found so far are actually a different version created by a different mapper. The back story for that particular map goes as follows:
Description: This map is a assault map. U.S. forces start at their island base and must attack the Vietcong bases on the other island. This is a Jungle type map. U.S. forces have one base that can not be taken, Vietcong have 3 bases that can be taken. The U.S. forces must drive boats or fly choppers to take the island. There are also tanks that can be airlifted over. Vietcong are equipped with artillery, AA guns, and jeeps to defend against the U.S. attack.
I still haven't checked some of my back ups; but, considering I have over a thousand DVD's and Blu Rays with backed up mods and maps for many games, and I had a habit of not labelling my disks very well, it's a mammoth task trying to find stuff. I have been adding the contents of DVD's to a Database, but am only about a third of the way through. I used to download all of the BFV maps when the game was popular and backed them up; that said one of the external drives that had a lot of BFV files stored was dropped several years ago and is no longer accessible, so I still may not find this map. fingers crossed.
