Wow, 2 for Jadzia Dax! I wonder why...
One thing I noticed in the opening titles of DS9, was the font they used. When "Odo" came up, it looked like "OOO". :)

my favorite of all. he has saved the day on numerous occasions and I also like the way in which he treats every situation, no matter how grim with unparalleled humor.

Garak, by far. His character was so unique and so well developed.

I like Dax not for her features but she was always smart and witty about things.

Jadzia FTW!!! There were so many great characters in DS9. Odo, Quark, O'Brian. Weyoun, Garak, Gul Dukat.

yeah, Jadzia was probably the best looking woman that stared in any ST show and her character was friendly and witty, not overly mushy not plan dull. but still DS9 had the best set of characters on the average so this one was a tough choice. in the end i had to go with Garack, but only by a really small margine.

I'm a bit torn between Elim Garak and Weyoun.
Garak is definatley one of the more interesting and mysterious characters of DS9, but Weyoun with that sickly friendly deceitful voice and manner is just awesome too.
#10 - Tough between Jadzia and Ben. - Posted by: MJAY (Member) on 08-31-2008 at 15:03
Jadzia and Benjamin are two characters in Star Trek that almost COMPLETELY broke the status quo.
"Agents of Change" in Star Trek, if you will.
Ben, was the first protagonist in Star Trek, that was soo.... aggressive. A captain that was not ashamed to use his "Darkside" when a situation demanded it (the assassination of the Romulan Senator). After venting his feelings in his log to quell his conscience... he said, "Computer, delete that ENTIRE log." I swear that was his best moment man... Sisko could weigh the pros and cons of any given scenario, and he didn't needlessly put up with foolishness, because it was the 'right thing' to do. Doing the 'right thing', would've caused the destruction of the Federation... and as far as I'm concerned, in Star Trek, I would much prefer for the Feds to be in-charge of everything instead of the Dominion.
Jadzia was gorgeous, first off. And she had a trustworthy and firey spirit to go along with her great looks. She broke the mole in Star Trek by being the first protagonist to truly fall in love with a Klingon (and she made a good choice too  ). No human or Trill man could handle a girl like Jadzia. A great friend to Ben... and her smart and sarcastic statements were always a laugh. She's probably my favorite Stat Trek chic. Out of all Star Trek girls... she was the most 'down to earth', and for most guys, the one we would end up marrying.
It was tough to decide between Jadzia and Ben. But Ben gets my vote. That man wasn't seeking prominence for himself. He just did what HAD to be done... and in the end... he become a god. lol The story of Benjamin Sisko is epic, IMHO.

Lucky bastard Benjy was. Got to become a god!
#12 - Holy crap, talk about your tough choices... - Posted by: Brannigans_Law (Member) on 09-01-2008 at 04:49
Almost all the characters on DS9 were awesome...
I went for O'Brien in the end, though it was a tough call between him, Garak and Bashir
#13 - Posted by: James_Bonsall (Member) on 09-01-2008 at 13:45
i went for garak - purely because you could never tell what his true agenda was, even when he seemed innocent, you suspected that was when he was most guilty...

Gul Dukat all the way. The way he sat down on that spine in the episode he and Kira were searching for his daughter... Priceless. And then, of course, he didn't even turn on the dermal regenerator before sticking it to his rump... I love this guy! Garak is great too, especially in the Bond episode. Why is it that the greatest alien race in DS9, the Cardassians, doesn't get nearly as much screen time as it should?
P.S. Resistance is futile, eh?

Jadzia is my favorite all the way. Sisko is my 2nd fave
I wonder how Starfleet listed Ben Sisko as at the end of the series I wonder if Starfleet listed him as Killed in Action or listed as Missing in Action after the profits returned him to the celestial temple.

Jadzia is good, but i enjoyed Ezri more, shes just so much. more...
if only shed had more time to develop her character,
the story is comparable to Kes in voyager. but thats a different topic.

the black guy gets the votes...NIIICE...
another fascinating moment when common sense and popular vote coincide.

Maybe Saquist it's because people actually like his character! Not because of political difficulties...
