Rachel Garrett, just to be different. Without a doubt she had the most badass and goriest deaths of any captain.

They just had to ask this question... I'm surprised it hasn't sparked a huge debate like it usually would anywhere else...

You know, it's spelled "Jean-Luc Picard", not "John Luc Picard". Just thought I'd point that out. I know you guys don't like grammar Nazis, but this IS canon we're talking about. -CanadianBorg P.S. Resistance is futile, eh? This is Not A game-show where you have to be spot-on with your spelling, we All KNEW what he meant, GETOver It , and Q called him that So John Luck is also Cannon, but that debate if for the forums, NOT the comments section. -tiq-

Let's make sure that history never forgets the name: Jean-Luc Picard :p

#6 - lawl! "John" Luc Picard. xD - Posted by: MJAY (Member) on 02-04-2009 at 20:17

That's a big boo-boo if I've ever seen one! I voted for "more than one of the above". We don't really know the other captains. So I guess I'll list my three favorites. Captain James Kirk Captain Jean-Luc Picard Captain Ronald Horton (Horton is in command of Big E, so he's cool because he's actually real.) lol

Only Q called him John-luc(k) once :P voted Picard

The only other real "official" Enterprise Captain i can think of is Edward Jellico from TNG: Chain of Command, And i guess you could count Will Riker in Gambit when they thought Picard was dead. -Lint

Remember in Star Trek Generations when Picard gets his ass kicked by SOran. Then Picard brings back Kirk to help. Kirk then easily kicks Sorans***. Kirk wins end of debate. You forgot to censor a word, next time Think before you post. -tiq-

If it counts I did make the poll after getting home at 4am one night ;) (and after being up since 5am the day before), the spelling wasn't intentional ;)

Gotta be Jellico. He wasn't the problem in that Episode, it was the enterprise department heads being all "oh we want picard back"

 #14 - Posted by: Kakashi971 (Member) on 02-07-2009 at 08:17

three captains come to mind. first is Picard because he has the best diplomacy in the federation. second is Kirk who loves a good fist fight and improvises well. and the third is Calhoun from the New Frontiers books he has a sword a "hot rod galaxy" which is alive and finally he has ties to Picard whom helped him out.

Picards nephew said it best; although, he was repeating what he heard. I just couldn't get past his self-righteous, pompous, evolved sensibilities. Sisko was more real. Archer pulled off space virgin well. I wasn't a big fan of voyager but Janeway evolved well. Real strong and almost mean.

I forgot to write, that if they could have been captain of Enterprise. I would have liked to see Sisko or Janeway give it a go.

sisko was def a fighter and strong person, and giving him an enterprise would have made him god like, as we know the enterprise have the tv shields lol

Picard, opposite to Kirk, always wanted to settle down problems before they arise, but once you poked him enough, you better reach warp 10, 'cuz you ain't going anywhere in one piece :D
