Description

This Modification lets one used A Joy Stick to control ship functions in Bridge Commander. I haven't tested this, because it's not really My Cup of Tea. But I'm sure this will appeal to those who like to use thier "Trottle". I thought Bridge Commander was capable of this feature, though I could be wrong. Oh, Well- If you want to reinact Commander Riker's little joy ride in the Briar Patch in Star Trek: Insurrection? This Mod is for you.

Since I did not test this Mod, I'll let you Be the Judge. . .

####  .NET Ansirial's BC Stick Enabler  ####

This is a simple program that finally allows everyone to control Bridge Commander ship with a joystick, it doesen't require
any configuration, but may be in the future a new version will be configuable.

Gamepad are fully compatibles.

----it works only with the defult key map of Bridge Commander----

WARNING - TO RUN THIS PROGRAM YOU MUST INSTALL THE
-----MS NET FRAMEWORKS-----

#### INSTALLATION ####
1-If not already connected, connect a joystick (the program will use the last one in the list of the game devices in your
control panel)

2-Launch the "Ansirial's BC Stick Enabler" you have extracted

3-Wait the connection for few seconds

4-If you want try the functionality of the buttons and axis
- X, Y & Z    => Ship control (Original Keys Q W E A S D)
- Button 1   => Phasers (Original key F)
- Button 2   => Torpedoes (Original key X)
- Button 3   => Disruptors (third weapon control) (Original key G)

5-Minimizes the "Ansirial's BC Sytick Enabler"

6-Launch Bridge Commader

7-Enjoy

What a shame. I followed all the instructions and now I have problem with the d3d renderer in win 10 so I can't play the game at all! (It doesn't support full screen mode whatever that means I was really hoping to get the joy stick working for this game as it is such fun. Back to Elite I guess.
